Villa Lemonia completed April 2008 is situated on the edge of Karavados village on route to St Thomas beach. The first floor comprises of Master bedroom with King size bed, on suite bathroom and balcony also Double bedroom on suite with balcony. Both bedrooms have magnificent panoramic views of mountain, sea and Zakynthos Island. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. Ground floor has 1 twin bedroom which opens directly onto pool and terrace area. adjacent to large bath and shower room. Open plan lounge, dinning and kitchen area. Lounge and dining room both open out onto the pool and terrace. Outside terraced area is laid to attractive Albanian stone, which cover all areas around the villa including drive to parking area and pergola. Pool area has sunbeds, parasols, table and chairs for 6 .

Karavados village is only a 15 min drive from Kefalonia airport and 20 mins from the cosmopolitan capital Argostoli, which has numerous restaurants and shops with a lively main square and a local atmosphere at night .Fresh fish , meat , fruit and vegetables can be found in the markets situated on the waterfront, here you can also board ferries to local destinations. Villa Lemonia is located within a couple of mins walk to the local mini market where you can purchase most of your holiday requirements. eg fresh daily bread , free range eggs , do please try their local wine ! The town of Peratata is approx 3km it offers chemist , health centre, petrol station, bakery and mini markets, also a few restaurants. The local beach of St Thomas offers sunbeds & umbrellas ( for a small charge) there are 2 tavernas one which only opens at night and is well known for freshly caught fish. Places to visit Myrtos beach , Drogarati cave, Melissani lake, Antisamos famous for Captain Corellis Mandolin.

We stayed in Villa Lemonia for the first week of October of this year and had a wonderful time. The villa itself is beautifully presented, modern and has all of the necessary amenities - and more!
I would certainly recommend a stay in this villa, and also in Karavados. I think we will be going back next year. In addition, if you are looking for peace and relaxation, the end of September / beginning of October is an ideal time of year to holiday here.

We had a really relaxing holiday - beautiful villa with stunning surroundings - definitely need a car to get around - no taverna/restaurant within walking distance (had elderly parents with us).

Everything we needed at the villa including a resident cat (which did not come into the villa but visited every day!)

Would definitely consider a return visit!

Thank you so much Gary & Steff for opening your home to us, seeing your website we were prepared for a very comfortable stay but were pleasantly surprised your home had all the luxuries and so much more.
The villa has plenty of room for 6 people, decor is tasteful and great to see safety was important to you guys, this was the first time we had come across smoke alarms, fire blankets and fire extinguishers in a private villa. really gives you peace of mind!
All 3 gardens are fantastic especially the BBQ area where we spent many an evening cooking kebabs and amazing fresh fish.
Karavados village was more idyllic than imagined with such friendly helpful people, the Enastron taverna just off the road to St Thomas beach is owned by a family from the village, food was amazing, service 5 star
Pool was a good size and so warm to swim in the evening when all the underwater lights came on. What a great choice we made this year, best villa we have rented in all the years visiting Greece.
Wish we coulld have stayed longer!!
Villa Lemonia is beautiful as is the Island of kefalonia.

Had a really relaxing holiday in villa lemonia. Everything there you could want including a shop on the doorstep. There was a problem with the air conditioning which was resolved within a few days. Lovely pool area and a beautiful island.

We stayed at the Villa Lemonia in the third week of May. The weather was surpisingly good, sunny and warm for time of year.A very well laid out villa with all the extra bits you would expect from a good villa. Located in a quiet village within easy reach of the capital Argostoli and a good base to explore the island. Thoroughly enjoyed the Villa and the island.Thankyou
