This brand new, 2 bed second floor (penthouse) apartment is in the Pueblo Salinas gated community and is only minutes from the beautiful blue flagged beaches of Vera Playa, 4 golf courses, an aquapark and the quaint fishing harbour of Garrucha - renowned for it's fish cuisine. It is tastefully furnished with a fully fitted kitchen; American style fridge freezer, dishwasher and air conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom. Double patio doors lead onto the generous sized terrace furnished with table and four chairs, for alfresco eating overlooking the main swimming pool & child’s pool and the beautifully landscaped Pueblo Salinas gardens, which include a natural swimming pool, streams, waterfalls and long walkways, and where you can also enjoy mountain views of nearby Mojacar. Site facilities also include 2 external swimming pools with life guard, tennis and paddle courts. This property is ideal for families, having a security controlled entrance and an attendant concierge

Location: In addition to superb golf, this undiscovered area offers wonderful beaches and is steeped in Spanish history and culture. It is particularly popular with nature lovers and back-packers. The completely unspoilt coast gives visitors a sense of exploration with its white hillside villages that tourist love to explore. Vera Playa beach (a small part of which is renowned for its Naturist beach) is just a few minutes drive and offers miles of quiet golden sand. Many other excellent beaches are just a short drive away including Puerto Rey, Garrucha and Mojacar, all with lifeguards and beach bars in summer months. The Cabo de Gata - Nijar National park with many beautiful hidden coves is less than an hour away by car. Vera Aqua Water Park is very close. Golf Courses all close by: Desert Springs 18 hole (Europe’s finest desert course), Marina Golf 18 hole, Valle de Este 18 hole, Cortijo Grande 9 hole.

Immediate area: Immediate area: Vera Playa beach is just a few minutes drive and offers miles of quiet golden sand. Many other excellent beaches are just a short drive away including Puerto Rey (our nearest beach being about 20 minutes walk away), Garrucha and Mojacar, all with lifeguards and beach bars in summer months. There is a large supermarket a few minutes drive away, and a shopping centre with bars, restaurants, shops and banks within walking distance. Other Activities nearby: Water Park, go-karting, quad biking. Vera is almost midway between Almeria and Murcia airports (both just under an hour away), and both being served by low-cost airlines.

A little further away:: The Cabo de Gata - Nijar National park with many beautiful hidden coves is 60 mins drive. The medieval village of Mojacar with its narrow cobbled streets sits at the top of a mountain overlooking the sea and is a tourist magnet. A 40 minute drive to the Tabernas Desert is where you’ll find Mini Hollywood where the spaghetti westerns were once filmed and is now preserved as a theme park. Almeria city, at about 60 minutes, has a large port where you can get a ferry to Africa. It is an old historical city with a wealth of historical sites, museums and art galleries. The old fishing port of Adra, with its castle and archeological remains is a few minutes away from Almeria and is often missed by tourists travelling along the coastal motorway. The Sierra Nevada Mountains are excellent for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter and are about 2 hours away.

I stayed in this apartment with my family recently and had a great few days. We got a good late booking deal from the owner.
The apartment itself is very clean, well set up and has everything we needed. The meet and greet service was very well organised. From what we saw of the area this complex looks one of the nicest and I liked the fact that the apartment is near enough to the pool to be able to keep an eye on the kids. You do need a car though. Check out the nearby town of Garuccha with its quaint little restraunts. There's plenty to do and we're hoping to go more in season next time.

Very Nice Place

I stayed here in the summer for almost 3 weeks and the appartment is very nice, the complex is nice with a great view of the sea and the mountains, not far from the supermarket and beach. The balcony is great for evening meals and sunbathing during the day. Overlooks the pool complex which is also very nice. An all round good value and adequately furnished and equipped appartment. I would however advise you have a car as the heat can make the walk to the beach or the supermarket hard work!
The complex is also secure with 24 hour friendly security and gates. Bus stop is a short walk away also. There is building going on but there is no noise or disturbance from this.
