This PLAYAMARINA 2 apartment is a new well located 2 bed 1 bathroom penthouse with roof solarium with 360° panoramic views of the sea. There is a large pool area with Jacuzzi available. Fully furnished and equipped to the highest standard with remote controlled air conditioning, private underground parking, and Cable TV. Numerous European Blue Flag sandy beaches with facilities only a 10min walk away. There are 3 championship golf courses within 10 minutes drive (Villamartin, Campoamor, Los Ramblas) with many more located a short drive away. There are a large number of excellent restaurants and bars catering for all tastes beside the apartment. Local banks, supermarkets, car hire, yacht club and horse riding facilities also within walking distance. Murcia airport is just 20 minutes away while Alicante is just a 50 minutes drive.

The numerous beaches on the Orihuela Costa have all been awarded the blue flag in recognition of high quality. Within walking distance is the very popular Cala Capitan beach at Cabo Roig, the beautiful Campoamor beach and the large beach at La Zenia. You are also just a short journey from the plaza at Villamartin, and the popular Flamenca Beach commercial centre offering a wide range of restaurants and family entertainment. Take sailing trips from Torrevieja, only 15 minutes drive away, to the famous island of Isla de Tabaraca. A short drive takes you to the 3 championship golf courses at Villamartin, Las Ramblas, and Royal Campoamor. Additional information about rental rates

  • Special Offer: We have kept our 2010 rates the same as 2009 Rates. Also we offer a 10% 'early-bird' discount on our prices for any booking for 2010 taken before end Dec'09, or a 5% discount if booking for 2010 taken before end Jan'10. To our regulars we now offer anyone who rebooks a 10% discount on our 2010 prices
  • Booking deposit – A non-refundable £100 deposit per week is required to secure the booking and the balance is payable six weeks prior to departure. If departure is within six weeks then full payment is required at the time of booking. A standard cleaning charge of €50 is payable locally at reception on departure, it covers clean bedding, towels (not beach towels), t-towels and a 24hour reception. Arrival and departure days are not restricted to weekends. Long-term rental discounts available.

    Security Deposit – A €100 damage/lost keys deposit is also required payable locally when the keys are collected and refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the property at the end of your stay.
  • 24 Hour Reception – On arrival to the Playamarina 2 complex you can collect the keys off reception for the apartment. Reception are more than happy to answer any questions you may have and are all native English speaking.

    If you require collection from & to airport we can arrange this for you too & also if you should be arriving after shopping hours we are able to arrange the purchase of a food parcel on request

Golf Information: Just a short drive from the apartment are three superb golf courses. The championship golf course at Villa Martin (+34 966 765 127) Royal Campoamor which must be one the most stunning courses.Campoamor (tel. +34 965 320 506), not for the faint hearted is Las Ramblas golf course which is considered to be one of the most challenging in Spain¨(+34 965 322 011) and are within a few kilometres with more courses not so far away at Quesada, Algorfa, La Manga and Torre Pacheco. Campoamor has a terrace bar and restaurant that are worth visiting even if you do not play golf.

Beaches: There are many blue flag beaches on the Orihuela Costa and you are just a 10 min walk to the nearest beach. The beautiful Mar Menor coastline with stretches from San Pedro to La Manga is a 15 minute drive away. Alternatively heading north towards Alicante you will find the very attractive sandy beaches of Gardamar and La Marina

Airports, car hire and support service: Airports, car hire and support service There are two main airports in the Costa Blanca area. Alicante is just a 40 minute drive to the apartment and Murcia a smaller airport is just a 20 minute drive away. Car hire is very reasonable and there are numerous on-line car hire companys, two which I have used are Centauro and Argusrentals, please ask for link. You will be met on arrival at the apartment and a good support service is there for you during your holiday.

i stayed here from 28th june 2009 - 8th july 2009 and i just want to say that it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. there was just a couple of minor problems such as the air con going off every hour, you have to keep pressing the button on the wall to get it going again. also if there is more than two of you then the baclony will be a bit of a squash as it just about fits two people on it. other than that it was nice.
the staff who work on reception are very kind and helpful as we found out one night when a cockroach found its way into our apartment, they came up to our room with spray and got rid of straight away, there was only the one thank god for that, they rarely get into your apartment unless u keep your windows open when your out at night.
there was food been cooked by the pool everyday by a lovely women who lived in the complex and it was really nice.
the cabo roig strip is very lively in the summer, there are a couple of lively bars such as the bushwacka and bar liquid. but there are some good irish pubs such as the trinity, the bog road and smiling jacks with karaoke most nights.
the beachs are lovely, they are local and never get to packed.
i have been to this area many times and my first stay in this apartment, i would definitley come back again
