Hammersmith & Fulham holiday house in Chiswick

We stayed here for a week, 2 families of 5 (young children). The owner is very nice and went out the extra mile for us for every request we had.

The house is just GREAT - even more then we anticipated. The kitchen has everything you need and that was very important for us (breakfast and sometime a late dinner). Rooms are big enough to accommodate all of our gang and at the same time, very warm and inviting (the kids wanted to stay at the house for another week...)
The kitchen and living area were big enough to accommodate us while eating or even just watching TV. The garden is bigger then expected and kids loved it.

The house was clean and tidy with enough towels - it has 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms, so we're not queuing...

Location was superb for us. On one hand it is located in a very nice neighborhood with not much traffic and noise and on the other hand the bus station was a 2 minutes walk away with a great route (Noting Hill, Hyde Park, Regent st. up to Piccadilly Circus). There are also 2 tube stations close by (in walking distance). A few supermarkets and restaurants near by as well, where we could find everything we needed.

The owner provided great instructions on the house features (DVD, Kitchen, TVs, Stereo system) and usage which was very handy (including where everything is located in the area).

We would strongly recommend this property for a large family or 2 families wanting to enjoy the vacation together!

I can say that if the weather had been bad and would make us stay at home - this house is a great place to get STUCK IN!

If you are looking for a lovely house in good location for a family experience we recommend this one, We were a family from Australia looking foward to an English winter over the Christmas period. We spent 3 weeks there and thoroughly enjoyed the home. At one stage we had 8 adults and 2 children sleeping there. It was spacious, comfortable and all the amenities that were required. It was warm through out with central heating. Transport into London is close by, Bus Stop Number 94 just outside, the tube railway station not far away and the local shops a short stroll away. The owner Jeremy communicated well with us and was available to be contacted if needed and was more tan helpul to make our stay memotrable and he also left all the information on the home that we needed. We spent a week in London in April 2010 and we didn’t want to leave, we were in 10, three generations ranging in age from 15 to 60 and our visit was perfect, owing largely to our wonderful accommodations in this lovely home.The owner,Jeremy, was gracious, accommodating and very warm with quick email response to questions and requests we had. You couldn’t ask for nicer owner. This house was exactly as described.:located in a quiet residential area (within the zone 2), surrounded by greenery, served by public transport (bus stop 94 is right in front of the house, and alight at Piccadilly Circus), the tube is only 5 minute's walk down the street .
It was very clean, efficient and well maintained. There was plenty of room to spread out so we never felt crowded and coffee in the morning in the garden off the kitchen was the perfect way to start the day (or to finish it with a glass of wine there after a day of sightseeing) weather permitting.
Not sure when we will next be back in London - but we'd definately rent this apartment again and have no reservations recommending it to others.
