2 Gites with Lovely Views and Shared Swimming Pool close to Carcassonne
Le Chene and Le Cerisier are 2 gites situated within our home - Domaine du Renne. They are self-contained semi-detached cottages which can be rented individually or as 1 main unit. Both have their own private shady terrace and have the use of our 12m x 6m swimming pool which has ample space, sun loungers and parasols. Views over the vineyards to the Pyrenees make this the perfect location for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all holiday. Ryanair operates from several UK airports to Carcassonne airport only 25 minutes drive from Le Renne and there are various other flight possibilities into Toulouse, just over 1 hour away.

Domaine du Renne is an oasis of peace and calm in the heart of the Languedoc30 km south-west of the ancient fortified city of Carcassonne and only 10 minutes from the market town of Limoux with a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants, several wine caves and an excellent market every Friday. The mediaeval town of Mirepoix is 25 minutes drive from Le Renne with a Monday market in the arcaded cathedral square. The countryside of the Aude is one of the most diverse in France. A fifteen minute drive can take one into the gently rolling wheat fields of the Lauragais, vineyards of the Limouxin, or wild mountains and gorges of the Corbieres, always with the Pyrenees as a backdrop. We have 45 acres of natural woodland with cleared pathways for you to stroll along and enjoy the views and wildlife - red squirrels inhabit our oak trees and deer forage in the undergrowth! If all that isn't enough the Mediterranean is within 90 minutes drive and duty-free shopping in Andorra is about 2 hrs away
