A beautiful waterfall feature and heated pool provide a romantic backdrop to this 2 bedroom, 2 shower room duplex in the centre of Caleta de Fuste. Within a small gated complex accessed via video-phone, the air conditioned rooms are stylishly furnished. The living area has a TV, DVD player, stereo, large sofa, dining table and 4 chairs. The kitchen area has an oven, grill, hob and ext. fan, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Also provided are a washing machine, clothes airier plus pegs, iron and ironing board. The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with coat hangers, spare linen and towels. A hairdryer and safe are also provided. The spacious sun terrace has a family table and 2 sun loungers. The balcony features a table for two plus additional seating. A movable stair gate that can also act as a room-divider, socket covers and a lockable sun terrace gate mean this apartment is child friendly. A baby bath, bottle/food warmer, bed guards and travel cot with bedding are also supplied.

Situated in the centre of the resort, the apartment is only a minute's walk to the nearest restaurants, cash machine and shops. Restaurants to suit all tastes from Spanish and Portuguese to Chinese, Thai, Mexican....and more... all offer friendly service and highchairs and usually a children menu. The horseshoe-shaped beach, only about 5 minutes' walk away, is ideal for families and children with a vast expanse of sand and shallow water. Sand castle schools are held each day, and the local Barcelo Hotel offers family entertainments and other swimming facilities as well as more restaurants. From the harbour, marine based activities and water sports are available. Board the submarine for a closer look at the local marine life, or feed the fish at the floating shop! Two 18 hole golf courses are 1.5 and 2km away. Further round the beach, toward the shopping centre with a large supermarket, boutiques, cinema and bowling alley, are beautiful lagoons for an even quieter beach holiday.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 50% is payable on confirmation of the booking, half of which is non-refundable. The balance must be paid no later than four weeks before the rental period begins. A damage deposit of 150 euros is required on arrival, and will be collected by our representatives when they meet you at the apartment. This is refunded to you on your departure after a check of the property. If we have incoming guests on that same day, it is usually possible to provide somewhere for you to keep your luggage and change/freshen up after visiting the beach if your departure flight is a late one. If any problems arise during your stay, our representative will be on call to assist you. On confirmation of your booking we will send you directions to the apartment in your own language and in Spanish to help you whether you get a taxi (about 10 euros) or hire a car from the airport. Taxis supply baby and child car seats. (Two booster seats are provided at the apartment if you are hiring a car with kids.)
  • Clean linen and towels are provided, plus beach towels for use on the sun loungers or at the beach. A booster seat for toddlers is provided, and high chairs can be arranged for 25 euros per week.
    Longer term rentals are welcome. Please contact the owner for rates.
  • If it is not possible to transfer payment to us in GB pounds (sterling), unfortunately we must ask for an additional 10 euros to cover our bank's processing fees.

More activities available on the island: A Thalasso spa is located next to the beach access closest to the apartment, next to the tennis courts. As well as the activities close to the apartment already mentioned, the following activities are also catered for on the island: deep sea fishing, jeep safari, kite surfing, wind surfing, surfing, horse riding, mountain biking. An annual kite festival draws crowds to Corralejo every November, and the Caleta Festival of Music parties throughout the evenings in October.

Should we hire a car?: The complex has underground parking available should you wish to rent a car in order to explore the rest of the island. Many car hire offices are found locally as well as at the airport, with prices starting at about 22euros per day for a small model. The island has many and varied beaches and places of interest to visit, from the rocky surfers' paradise near Corralejo in the North to the beautiful and expansive dunes of Jandia in the South. The unspoilt former capital Betancuria is a beautiful destination for a quiet romantic day in the cooler climate of the central region. A regular ferry sails from Corralejo to Lazarote every day.

Late bookings: If you book to stay with us less than one calendar month before traveling, then a discount of 20% of the advertised rate will be applied.

the description of this property was very acurate the property is well located as it is very central ideal for kids and the pool is perfect the people that met us at duplex were very helpful and always on hand if needed ,the bus for day trips collects at barcello located beside the propery so ideal when you have children , we done day trip to lanzarote ,aquapark and submarine .we also hired a car- shop just a few doors up and works out very cheap ,we had a truly excellent holiday here and would reccomend it to anyone .
