Brand new luxury south-facing 3 bed penthouse beautifully furnished with air-conditioning/heating. This penthouse is ideally located on the secure complex of the prestigious Corcovada development set in a quiet yet convenient area to the east of Albufeira. It enjoys the benefits of communal swimming pools and landscaped gardens. The bedrooms and lounge/dining area have patio doors leading out onto a very large balcony (50sq.m). This large balcony which overlooks the swimming pool and separate children’s pool will accommodate dining for ten people. Parking is available but a car is not necessary. The fully equipped kitchen provides all you could require in home catering. However, there are many restaurants and bars close by, within easy walking distance of the beach, the ’Strip’ and the Old Town. The site has its own shops, snack bar and restaurant.

This area offers great holiday opportunities throughout the year with golf courses, water sports, shopping, beaches and a huge variety of restaurants. Areias Sao Joao, offers many shops, bars, restaurants and clubs, many of which are situated on 'The Strip' which runs from Montechoro to the beach at Praia da Oura. For many visitors the golden sandy beaches and the vibrant night-life offered here provide the perfect holiday ingredients. There is a fantastic beach, Praia dos Aveiros, about 15 minutes walk from the apartment. The nearest golf course is Balaia Golf which is situated in the Santa Eulalia area of Albufeira. Zoo Marine is based in Guia a short car/bus ride. Zoo Marine features dolphin and tropical bird shows, an aquarium, fairground rides and swimming pools surrounded by beautiful lakes and gardens. Old town Albufeira is about 1km away. There is a mixture of the historic and traditional flavour of the Algarve with cobbled streets and picturesque leafy town squares.

Rates for stays of less than 1 week are calculated as 1/7th of the applicable weekly rate plus £30. Please contact the owner for information of long winter lets.
    A 30% non-refundable deposit will be required on booking and the balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. Payment by bank transfer or cheque. £200 damage deposit required (refundable within 2 weeks of departure). The apartment will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Notes: The very large modern lounge/diner (with air-conditioning) is tastefully decorated with Jatoba wooden floors, with 2 settees and a modern dining suite. 2 sets of patio doors lead out to the terrace for relaxing and alfresco dining. The dining kitchen has all modern appliances. All 3 double bedrooms have fitted robes and dressing tables and 2 of the 3 bathrooms have bath with shower over. All towels and linen included, but guests must bring their own towels for pool and the beach. Towels and linen changed once weekly.

Outside: The large 50 sq.m. terrace has a dining table and 6 chairs, overlooking the large shared swimming pool and children's pool. Beautifully landscaped grounds with on site cafe, children's play area and crazy golf. An underground garage provides parking for 2 cars.

Coast/Beach: There are many beautiful golden sandy beaches in the vicinity, the closest being the Praia da Oura only 15 minutes walk away. Praia da Santa Eulalia is another wonderful beach only 5 minutes further on.

Golf: Parque da Corcovada is well located for access to 9 golf courses within 40 minutes drive, the closest being 10 minutes away. There are another 26 courses to try along the Algarve. Elected as the 'established golf destination of the year 2006' it attracts many golfing visitors from all over the world to play on the finest and most challenging courses.

this apartment was far better than i could of expected, it was immaculate inside and out, the owner and the rep were really nice helpfull people and always on hand to help, the complex was beautifull and close to all amenities.
cant wait to go back next year .

Parque da Corcovada apartments

I found Caroline very helpful and informative, she even sorted out some where for us to store our luggage as we had an evening flight home . The apartment was described very accurately and photos do not do it justice! The large terrace was great for breakfast and evening meals and being able to keep an eye on the kids at the pool as it was directly below us. The bedrooms were very large with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The lounge is extremely large with two large sofas and four separate patio doors out on to the terrace.
It is ideally placed for bars, restaurants local shops etc as "The strip" is within very close walking distance and the tourist train runs from there very frequently to and from the Old Town where there is an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops, street entertainers, open air concerts, and a wonderful beach!
The Bar/restaurant/shop does reasonably priced meals and snacks and also as internet access to entertain teenagers for an hour. (tho it is cheaper on "The Strip")
The only negatives we had was that the air conditioning was not working during our stay (Caroline was good enough to call me the night before and expalin) Tho large fans were provided in the bedrooms. The terrace missed a few sun loungers on the large terrace as the ones by the pool all were towelled by 10am (tho rules by the pool do stipulate that sun beds cannot be reserved).
The nearest reasonably sized supermarket is a good twenty mins walk, tho there are two or three nearer but extremely small and very expensive.
Overall we had a brilliant holiday and would stay in this penthouse again and would recommend this property to friends and family(which we already have) !

I do apologise that the air conditioning was not working, unfortunately we have had to change from single phase electricity to 3 phase electricity and we were waiting for the electricity board to approve this.
