A short drive from Marrakech lies Bab Adrar D'atlas the doorway into the Atlas Mountains. Nestled amongst the olive groves of the magnificent Ourika Valley lies Dar Tamazerte; a two storey spacious villa ( 363m2) situated on a development of eight luxury villas set in 20 acres of sub-tropical gardens, with flowering shrubs, palm and olive trees each villa is surrounded by a pise wall . There is a private swimming pool (13mx5m) with a sun awning and outdoor furniture The communal facilities include a tennis court, golf practice area, exercise room and a hamman, massage and beauty treatments available at an extra charge. The property is staffed by a house keeper, cook and gardner included in the price. Meals can be cooked for a reasonable price and can be taken in the dining room or on the outside terrace (covered) or on the first floor terrace overlooking the Atlas Mountains.The interiors have been designed by a French designer and combine a contemporary Moroccan/European style

The villa is located on the road to Ourika Valley approx 25 mins from Marrakech which is a cosmopolitan city , it has some of the best restaurants and night clubs in the world. The famous Jema el-fina square is best visited at night it always busy with storytellers, musicians and lots of el-fresco eating stalls.The colourful souks are a must for browsing or buying a wonderful array of goods from spices to ornate lamps.Visit the Majorelle gardens a delightfully tranquil spot filled with exotic plants There are an array of activities nearby,golf, cycling, hiking ( short walks or longer, one or two day treks can be arranged by our excellent English management team,) horse riding, fishing, motor sports such as quad bikes and 4x4 across the desert dunes.

Skiing: Oukaimeden is located about 40mins from Beb Adrar D'Atlas and caters for downhill and cross-country skiers. Currently the season is short, mid January to mid February is usually the best time for good snow. Dubai state developer Emaar, has signed an agreement with King Mohammed V1 to build a ski resort at oukaimeden.It will extend the season to four months and will provide vacation properties and hotel rooms.

Morocco is a wonderful country and this beautiful villa encapsulates why, with an amazing swimming pool, delicous Moroccan food, really friendly hosts who could not have been more helpful and delightful a big thank you for making my four days here so magical. I look forward to coming back soon.
