This is a 3-story house built in the second half of the 19th century by Elies Rogent, Gaudi’s teacher in the university, and therefore the building is included in Barcelona’s heritage catalogue. It has been completely restored and refurbished in 2008 with excellent design and quality materials. It is located in Carrer Bonavista 4. There are a total of 10 apartments available in the building. The building is equipped with an elevator, and there is a large gardened flat roof where our guests relax after a long day visiting the city. We also offer a parking place in the same building and luggage locker. The building is adapted for wheelchairs.

This is a sunny and modern studio with 68m2 (732 sq.ft.), ideal for families or groups up to 4 people, or for a luxurious stay with your couple. It has one bedroom with a with two single beds and with an en-suite full bathroom. In the living room there is a sofa-bed with a queen-size spring mattress, absolutely as comfortable as a standard double bed. The main area is composed of a living room and an open kitchen with a dining table, creating a large open space. The studio also has a toilet, and it is equipped with air conditioning, 32” plasma TV, home cinema, and broadband internet. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, juicer, toaster and kettle. The service includes bed linen, towels, tableware, etc. There is a nice private balcony, overlooking a quiet gardened patio, where you can sit at the table and enjoy a glass of wine in the mild evenings of Mediterranean Barcelona.

The location is hard to beat: in the safest area of the center, extremely well communicated, with top rated shops and restaurants around you and in the border or a neighborhood with character. The building is at the beginning of a quiet street in the upper side of elegant Paseo de Gracia. In 2 minutes you walk to two metro lines, buses and the two tourist bus routes. In 5 min, Gaudi’s La Pedrera, numerous luxury shops, and a bus taking you to the beach. You also can walk to many of the best restaurants in the city, some of them with Michelin stars. The street is at the border of Gracia’s neighborhood, which has maintained the flavor of the small town it used to be. If you wander around Gracia, you will find all kinds of exotic restaurants, stores with a lot of character, art galleries… Every once in a while you will come across a small square with terraces under the trees that will make you enjoy the wonderful weather of Barcelona.

Wonderful Few Days in Barcelona

We had a wonderful time during our stay at these beautiful apartments. Our host Pablo was very helpful during the lead up to our stay and answered our many questions very quickly. The directions send to us on how to get to the apartment were fantastic. The apartments are in a lovely part of the city with plenty of restuarants nearby and lots of very stylish shops. We could not fault the apartments at all, there was everything you could possibly need for a great stay. It was very quiet of a night so we had a great nights sleep and the beds were very comfortable. We did a great bike tour of the city whilst we were there which was very useful and our guide was fantastic. It was with a company called barcelona bikes and they can be found on the internet. I would recommend Bonavista Apartments to our friends as one of the best places we have stayed in and we hope to be able to return again very soon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This is a beautifully restored building and the interior of the apartment has been tastefully done, no expense seems to have been spared. Everything is very well laid out and there is a modern but spacious feel to the apartment. We also had a large terrace. Given how close it is to a main boulevard, it was very quiet as our apartment windows all faced the back of the building. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and next time we will bring our children as there's enough space for all of us. Sharon and Billy
