The apartment is located in the centre of this upmarket seaside town, with its shops, restaurants and marina. Great for families with very close proximity to the beach, also very suitable for couples looking for a romantic break. There is something for everyone, sailing, rowing, fishing, swimming, walking and visiting local attractions. The apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin), 1 bathroom, kitchen, lounge, hallway and utility room. The city of La Coruna is 20 minutes drive and Santiago de Compostela is about 1 hour drive.

Nearest Airport: La Coruna at 18 Kilometres
Nearest Train: La Coruna at 18 Kilometres

The apartment is located in the main street, although there are no noisy bars or restaurants in this road so the shops close around 8.30 or 9.00pm. Very close to the beach and the marina is a lovely walk along the promenade, with good restaurants. Everything you might need is within close proximity, doctors, chemist etc. The nearest supermarket is on the ground floor of the apartment building and the actual apartment is on the first floor, so you only need to go down 1 flight of stairs to do any grocery shopping! There is also an elevator available. There is no long drive to or from the airport. La Coruna airport is about 20 minutes drive depending on traffic and flight time is 1 and a half hours from London Heathrow. There is a direct flight from Heathrow daily with Vueling airlines. The road where the apartment is situated is pedetrianised and only open for loading and unloading for shops and business from 8am to 12 noon. It is closed to traffic from 12noon to 8am.

Opening hours: Normal opening hours of shops and business in this area is from 10am (some supermarkets open at 9am) until 2pm. From 2 until around 4.30 shops and businesses close. They re-open at 4.30 until 8.30 or 9pm. It is quite normal to eat late in the evening here - at around 9.30 or 10pm for dinner and 2pm for lunch, although of course if you would like to eat earlier this is not a problem - the choice is there.On Saturday afternoons, the road where the apartment is situated closes for a large market until around 10pm. You will find fresh produce here (fruit and veg) also stalls with clothes, music, shoes etc. and local cheeses.

Our stay in Sada

My husband daughters & myself were met at the apartment by Cristina's father who with his wife showed us the apartment and nearby carparking (all free). As we arrived quite late we really appreciated the basic fresh provisions they had provided. The apartment was beautiful, clean, tidy & everything there for a perfect stay. Due to it being a pedestrianised area deliveries to the shops are quite early and sometimes a little noisy. There is a well stocked supermarket directly below the apartment as well as nearby bakery and a really good cafe called Quimbaya around the corner who serve wonderful coffee and fresh Churros (finger doughnuts) which you can dip in chocolate....delicious! Our main purpose for the holiday was to visit family in Coruna but we are so glad we stayed in Sada as we found it very relaxing, a lovely marina, good shops, bars & restaurants. Although Sada has enough going on and you could get away without a car there is so much to see outside of Sada some beautiful beaches and lush green scenery, reminded me of Ireland. It helped that my husband speaks Spanish but it gave me and my daughters a reason to have a go at the language as this is not the Costas, this is real Spain. We will return.

sada delight

After phoning Christina, she came & met us & took us to her beautiful apartment which was spotlessly clean & very well equipped.
Sada is a very nice place with lovely beaches all along the coast .
The beaches that you can see in the distance over the other side of Sada beach only take about half an hour to reach & are very nice too.
The aquarium at La Coruna is worth a visit & a good couple of hours spent there looking at all different sea life plus the seals. It offers "hands on" activities for the children, big ones as well as little ones.
We found a lovely cafe A Pulgueira which sold the best coffee for not a lot of money which is situated on the corner opposite the 1st roundabout as you enter Sada.
We had 2 lovely meals in the Italian restaurant opposite the entrance to the Marina.
We really enjoyed our stay in Sada ,found the prices reasonable & wouldn't hesitae to reccommend Chrisina's apartment to anyone.

This lovely apartment is well located for sightseeing and beautful beaches. It is well equipped and very comfortable.
It is well located in Sada for great restraurants and bars.

Fantastic apartment in a central location

We really had a great time in this wonderful new apartment in the centre of a very nice town full of shops, bars and restaurants, it is a great base to explore Galicia and there are some lovely coastal footpaths from the town too.
The apartment was perfect and cristina's parents were friendly and helpful, I would like to stay there again someday.

Our stay in Sada

My wife daughters and myself were met by Christina and her Husband,whom made us feel very welcome and were so helpful,telling us places to eat day or night. They took us to the apartment,this was beautiful, done to a very high standard. It was slightly noisy as we live in the country. Sada was more than we expected we loved living their way very Spanish. We had our phrase book as we didn't meet any English which made it all the more fun for us.The Beach was a couple of minutes away and it was lovely to walk along the Marina people in the Bars and Restaurants were very helpful and would try to copy our English.There was plenty to see outside of Sada. We will return.
