Ideally situated on the ground floor in an elegant 19th century building overlooking a quiet private street near St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican Museum, Crescenzio Suites hosts up to 7 people. Redecorated and refurnished in 2008, it is a mix of modern and antique furniture, parquet floors, high ceilings. It’s composed of 2 units - sharing main entrance - that can be rented together or separately. The largest unit is 50 m² (550 sq ft) and hosts up to 4 people. The smallest unit is 35m² (400 sq ft) and hosts up to 3 people. Perfect for a family, a couple or a larger party that can be together or have their own privacy. *FREE high-speed Wi-Fi Internet, air conditioning, independent heating (plenty of hot water!) *Towels, linen, hair dryer and iron provided. *Cot and high chair on request. *Maps of Rome and touristic information provided. *We supply some tea, juice, instant coffee and italian coffee, as well as italian olive oil, pasta and canned tomato.

The largest unit consists of a spacious living room with comfy double sofa bed (or twin beds), dining area with table and chairs, mini-kitchen and cable TV (see picture”Crescenzio suite - Living room n. 2”); bedroom with large double bed (or twin beds); bathroom off the corridor. The smallest unit consists of a cozy living room with single sofa bed, dining area with table and chairs, mini-kitchen and CD player; bedroom with double bed (or twin beds); ensuite bathroom. Both the fully furnished mini-kitchens have electric ceramic hob, sink, fridge, little oven, kettle. Both the bathrooms have stall shower, bidet, heated towel racks.

From Crescenzio Suites it is a short walk to the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica as well as the shopping area of via Cola di Rienzo. The Ottaviano station (metro line A) is also within easy walking distance, less then 400 mt., and connects the flat to Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna and the main train station, Termini. The area is also well connected with buses to all areas of town. It is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the historical centre of Rome including Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Venezia and the Coliseum, by crossing either of the two bridges near the Vatican - the Amedeo di Savoia and the Vittorio Emanuele II. At 100 mt. from Crescenzio Suites there are a supermarket, in Via Alberico II, and a covered market with fresh vegetables and fruits, in Piazza dell'Unità. In the neighbourhood there are plenty of restaurants, bars, delicatessens and 'gelaterie' for delicious ice creams.

The smallest unit has got a cozy bedroom with large double bed, fitted cupboard, mirror, ensuite bathroom and detached stall shower. A lilac color purple on one wall gives the room a fresh, romantic and vintage feeling (see picture “Crescenzio suites - Double bedroom n. 1”). *Both the bedrooms are air-conditioned. *Bed linen are provided. *Both the double beds can be made as twin single beds on request. *Baby crib/cot and high chair are available on request.

Cancellation/Reservation policy: To make a confirmation it si requested a down payment of 25% on the total amount by bank transfer. Should you be forced to cancel the reservation up to 20 days prior of your arrival we will send back you your money less approx 16 euros of bank expenses. Less than 20 days prior we will take the entire down payment.

Other Activities: sports are available in the area of Foro Italico, where there is also the Olimpico Soccer Stadium, 15 minutes away from the flat

Wonderful time in Rome

We had a wonderful time at Crescenzio Suites. We were greeted on arrival and everything clearly explained to us. Small touches like a list of reataurants that I'd asked for and orange juice in the fridge made a big difference. The place was immaculate and very contemporary. It's location so near to The Vatican and Restaurants and shops made it an ideal venue for us as we had taken our 75 year old Aunt on a celebratory trip. All in al I would have no hesitation in recommending Crescenzio suites.

More than we expected and just downtown

We enjoyed our stay at the Crescenzio suite very much. Owners were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The place was clean, comfortably furnished and equipped with good taste. The flat has high ceilings and a creative touch in the decor. We appreciated the facilities (tea, coffee, extra vergine olive oil, fresh drinks in the refrigerator). Moreover Internet wireless connection was strong and free of charge! The neighborhood was plenty of shops, and metro line "A" is close by. It is really situated few meters away from St. Peters Basilica and Vatican Museums. We would very much like to stay here again, if we get a chance

We very much enjoyed our stay in Crescenzio Suites. We had the smaller apartment, which was comfortable and perfect for our needs. The owners kindly gave us a high chair and a cot for our baby too. The adjacent larger apartment looks even better though.

The apartment was very clean, and accurately described. It was also very well located for the Vatican, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the Metro too.

The owners were very welcoming, and some other family members are staying there later this year.

It would be nice if there was a TV in the apartment, together with DVD, but this is only a minor gripe.

Highly recommended.
