If you're having a golfing break or a family holiday our villa has everything for a great stay. To cool you down there's your very own pool, but If the sun gets too hot for you there's a covered outdoor area with furniture, sun loungers and a BBQ. The Clubhouse with shopping facilities is just a short walk away. A resort bus service which links with the other Polaris resorts is available with full supermarket available at La Torre golf resort (5min ride). The living room boasts high vaulted ceilings and is luxuriously furnished to an exquisite standard. For your safety the resort is gated and has 24hr security.

El Valle Golf Resort is located 20 mins from the wonderful city of Murcia. The old part of the city has many museums, churches, and plazas linked by quaint streets-ideal for exploring the numerous restaurants, tapas bars and shops. Murcia region boasts an array of sports for all tastes from watching Murcia football team in their wonderful new stadium playing in La Liga against the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona. For the more active cycling, hiking and rock climbing are available in the mountains. If its a more relaxing time you're after, try the Mar Menor with its long sandy beaches and warm water where the bathing is safe. Watersports are available at a safe controlled distance away. The shopper is well catered for in Murcia with its 2 shopping malls with shops such as Zara, Hennes, Primark, C & A and Ikea. The historic city of Caragena is only 30 minutes drive away, where you can see many ancient relics and visit the colourful markets.

Costa Calida & Murcia
The Costa Calida is situated in the southeast of Spain. To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south lies the Costa de Almeria. Translating as the 'Warm Coast' Costa Calida forms the coastline of the Murcia region. Well known for its mild climate, it enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year, more than any other in region in Spain. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Winters are typically very mild with averages hovering around 18°C (64°F). The Costa Calida/Murcia area is reputed to have one of the most pleasant climates in the world - according to the World Health Organisation. There are so many reasons for coming to this area and many people who come as holiday makers eventually return to live here. The Murcia region is one of Spain's & Europe's best kept secrets. An unspoilt area with 250km of beaches along the shores of 2 seas: the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor
Golf Information:
Arguably the finest desert links course in all of Europe, this superb 18 hole par 71 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course is fast becoming 'the' must play course in southern Spain and attracts golfers from all over the world who continue to give rave reviews. Situated in a beautiful natural desert valley, It is routed in a 'core' format that groups several holes together whilst keeping the surrounding development on the perimeter. This means many holes border other holes and not houses creating a more open and natural golfing experience. Rather than length, the course relies on subtle strategic elements to challenge golfers. This course puts a premium on accuracy, not power and favours the intelligent player who can manage his or her game. All the holes offer their own unique challenge and are a joy to play whether you decide to stroll the course or save your energy in a buggy.

There was 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 teenagers and we loved the Villa, the pictures make it look a lot smaller than it is, especially the pool and room around it.
It is a quiet location,clean, safe and private and gets the sun all day in the back, so ideal for lazy pool days and we had plenty of them!
The only drawback we found that is a remote location and unless you have a car and willing driver then nights in are bound to happen. The Clubhouse is lovely and the views are stunning down the fairways of the Golf Course but for a family of 6 it was expensive to eat and drink there.
We recommend the Mercadona in San Javier, which is signposted, once you come into the town as it is cheaper than the Polaris World supermarket.
For eating out, we went to the Wok Buffet in San Javier which was 9 euros a head, to eat as much as you can, it was clean, friendly and food was amazing.
Next door, to the Wok buffet are 2 bars.. David and Simons who also do food and Karoke, and Cheers which have dancing and food too.
There is a small british community not far up the service road, in a place called El Trampolin which has a hairdressers, beauty salon and wee bar/resturant called Happy Days, which serves good food and enterainment, Thrusday night was Fish and Chip night with a Quiz night and I highly recommend it.
To get there, you go down the service road to the left at the end of the tree lined avenue and roundabout and follow this road to you see El Trampolin on your left, go though the raised barrier and over the bumps to you come to a wide space, turn left and Happy Days is at the bottom.
Murcia is a 20 min drive away and has great shopping and has some fantastic buildings to admire and qauint back streets to explore.
Please do not be afraid to get in the car and explore as is a wonderful part of Spain and the roads are signposted and will find your way back no problem.
Polaris World have 5 resorts in the area and you are welcome at them all, so look at the events calender at the reception areas and see what is on at each resort, which are in easy reach and a bus is provided, if you require it.
I do recommend you bring DVD's, cards and games,we brought our PS2 as there for 14 nights, we did get bored during the day as it rained for 5 days plus being remote and didnt go out every night, stopped boredom setting in.
I recommend the owners of the Villa to orgainse a welcome pack for future guests for places to eat and do etc.
