Trulli Tartaruga:
The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and the whole property (including the magnificent pool) has been redecorated and refurbished throughout. It is in a fantastic position for exploring the region. The local town, Ostuni is just 5 minutes away by car. This is the jewel of Puglia. Here you will find wonderful restaurants, bars and a big market in the historic old town. The best (blue flag) beaches in the region are just a 10 minute drive away. There are countless stunning towns to visit nearby from Ostuni and Martina Franca to the 'Florence of the South', Lecce. There is also a wonderful zoosafari theme park nearby.
The grounds extend to 9000 sq.m. of olive, almond and fruit trees. The Trulli is made from local Italian stone which has the benifit of keeping the Trulli nice and cool during those long warm summer days.In the height of summer the grounds can appear dry,as water is a valuable resource to the local agricultural community we do not irrigate the grounds.
