Tala and Paphos Area Attractions

The village of Tala is very traditional with a pretty square surrounded by tavernas and shops. It is close enough to all the various attractions and night life yet far enough to be able to offer a peaceful and tranquil vacation. The excellent beaches and restaurants at Coral Bay are only 10 minutes drive while Paphos Town is 15 minutes away. The many attractions of Paphos include the area of Kato Paphos which is steeped in history and benefits from a pretty harbour, medieval fort, restaurants, bars, shops and a lively nightlife. At the harbour you will find a number of exciting daily boat trips on offer. A number of water sports are available here and include water skiing and paragliding and a water park is nearby. Paphos is listed as a World Heritage Site with 3rd Century mosaics, and the Tombs of the Kings. You can easily drive to the Akamas Peninsular, and the Troodos Mountains, where you can explore Kykkos Monastery and several wineries producing local Cypriot wines.
