Salt hill has an aquarium, funfair (June-September), Leisure land (swimming pool, gym, crazy golf, and other outdoor attractions), diving-tower, long promenade walk, top-class restaurants, playgrounds, parks. This home is situated only a short drive from a host of tourist attractions - Connemara (lakes, mountains, national park), blue-flag beaches, Aughnanure Castle, Dunguaire Castle, Ross Castle, Ashford Castle, Kylemore Abbey, The Burren, The Cliffs of Moher, Athenry Castle, Portumna Forest Park and Castle, Lough Key Forest Park and adventure centre, Killary and Delphi adventure centres, horse-riding, diving... You can visit the spectacular Aran Islands by air or sea, for a day-trip or overnight stay. On the islands, you can tour by bus or the traditional horse-drawn trap. You can see historic monuments and churches, watch seals swim in the bay, enjoy the breath-taking views from the cliffs,... You can enjoy a river cruise on the Corrib Princess. Or you can depart Oughterard, visit Inchagoill Island on Lough Corrib, and then spend a few hours in then village of Cong, home of Ashford Castle.
