This house is within 20 minutes drive of a number of beaches, both popular and quiet, private ones. Salthill, famous for its atmosphere, tourist amenities and wonderful promenade walk, is also 20 minutes drive. Salt hill has an aquarium, funfair (June-September), Leisure land (swimming pool, gym, crazy golf, and other outdoor attractions), diving-tower, long promenade walk, top-class restaurants, playgrounds, parks. The holidaymaker to Moycullen can experience diving, boating, fishing, swimming, surfing, etc. This home is in the perfect location to enjoy the sea, lakes and river, all of which are only a few minutes' drive away. * This home contains a welcome pack offering you information on literally hundreds of attractions and activities for all ages and interests. *

City

Galway city is just 20 minutes drive from this well-located home. Galway is an excellent shopping city, boasting many international stores, as well as traditional local businesses. Galway city has playgrounds, parks, libraries, beaches, riverside walks and cruises, cinemas, indoor play centres for children, a museum, art galleries, theatres, and lots, lots more. This home is ideally located just 15 minutes' west of the city, and at the gateway to Connemara and Cois Fharraige (the seaside). This home is situated only a short drive from a host of tourist attractions - Connemara (lakes, mountains, national park), blue-flag beaches, Aughnanure Castle, Dunguaire Castle, Ross Castle, Ashford Castle, Kylemore Abbey, The Burren, The Cliffs of Moher, Athenry Castle, Portumna Forest Park and Castle, Lough Key Forest Park and adventure centre, Killary and Delphi adventure centres, horse-riding, diving... You can visit the spectacular Aran Islands by air or sea, for a day-trip or overnight stay. On the islands, you can tour by bus or the traditional horse-drawn trap. You can see historic monuments and churches, watch seals swim in the bay, enjoy the breath-taking views from the cliffs,... You can enjoy a river cruise on the Corrib Princess. Or you can depart Oughterard, visit Inchagoill Island on Lough Corrib, and then spend a few hours in then village of Cong, home of Ashford Castle. Golf Information:

This property is situated a mere 15 minutes' drive from three beautiful golf courses - Glenlo Abbey, Barna Golf & Country Club and Galway Golf Club (Salthill); and about 30 minutes drive from Galway Bay Golf & Country Club and Oughterard Golf Club. Excellent meals are available in all of these clubs. Glenlo Abbey is also a five-star hotel, with wonderful restaurant and bar facilities. Each of these courses boasts different terrain and challenges. Play them all and see which you prefer!
