Welcome to our little Corner of Paradise. Nestling among palm trees and tropical foliage, our charming modern beach home has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, air-conditioning and many amenities including shared pool and small private garden. Part of a quiet, beautifully maintained complex, on the dry west coast of the island, it has private parking and gated 24hr security. Walk 3 minutes to a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach; Enjoy the natural shade of 'Filaos' trees and some stunning sunsets. Our home has everything you look for in a high quality self-catering apartment / villa...fully equipped kitchen, loungers, TV, DVD, safe, pool floats, beach chairs, linens, beach towels and a whole lot more. A cot and high chair are available for our baby guests. Restaurants, Pubs, Supermarket, Bank, Casino, Tourist information are all within a 3-15 minute walk. It is also ideally based for visiting the Capital and its exotic central market and touring the rest of the island. Local buses and taxis can be found within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Within a 15 minute drive away you will find: - A beautiful new 18 hole Golf course - Casela Nature Park, extending over an area of 14 hectares, which hosts more than 1000 birds, the Mauritian Macaque, lemurs, ostriches, and giant tortoises - Domaine Anna, a fabulous Chinese fusion restaurant set in sugar cane fields and surrounded by pools of fresh water fish - A working sugar mill

Cleaning / Maid Service: Prior to departure the apartment should be cleaned, beds stripped and all used items cleaned and put away as found on arrival. This includes everything except for bed linen and towels. If you require maid service during your stay or are not in a position to do all the necessary cleaning before leaving, this can be arranged for a fee. Please enquire at the time of booking.

Transfers, Car Hire, Visiting Island: For your convenience, and to avoid needless worrying upon arrival and departure, we can arrange for airport transfers. Additional local excursions or local car hire can also be arranged locally with the same taxi driver. (These are separately payable to the taxi driver)

Check In Times: Check In: 1pm Check Out: 10am We are generally flexible with check in and check out times especially given international departure and arrival times at ungodly hours. However, sometimes during high season there may be a need to ensure that there is enough time to clean the apartment between bookings which is why we like to set out these times. Please enquire if you wish to arrive before or stay beyond those times

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday and fully endorse the comments made by the previous reviewer. The location is perfect with everything you need - pool, beach, shops, restaurants and good public transport close by. The apartment is comfortable and spacious, ideal for two couples offering both communal living and the privacy of a bedroom/bathroom suite each. The complex with its attractive pool and gardens is very well-maintained and we were impressed by the level of security on site.
We would like to thank Brigitte and her apartment managers, Shyam and his wife Marie Rose for their kindness, help and efficient service. Indeed we would strongly recommend hiring Shyam for tours of the island. We did this on two days - it is less hassle and we saw parts of the island that we probably would not have seen had we been driving. He also knows all the shortcuts to avoid the traffic! However, a bus ride into Port Louis and a visit to the vibrant Central Market and Chinese Quarter is also a must.
In spite of visits to other beaches we all felt Flic en Flac was the best - it really is a gem and the sunsets are sensational! We particularly liked it at weekends when the local people and their families came to relax and enjoy themselves.
Finally we would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment and location to our friends and family.

Exactly as described on the website. This wonderful beach home situated over three floors is part of a beautifully maintained secure complex with pool. Within less than three minutes walk to the fantastic sandy beach and near to all other amenities. Clean, modern, spacious and well equipped. We were only 4 adults staying but it could indeed easily sleep 8. Ideal for a family. Stairs could be a problem for infirm or very young children though.
Superb, swift and helpful customer service from Brigitte who also helped arrange transport to/from the airport.
I have no hesitation recommending this property to friends and family and felt it represented very good value for money.
I'll be going to Mauritius again to visit relatives and intend to be staying at this Beach Apartment - if it is available!
