Bored of staying on holiday complexes? Want to be in the heart of the picturesque village of Burgau and only a one minute walk to the lovely beach? Then this is the apartment for you! A very well equipped property, which is the second home of the owners, it has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. An ever growing library of light reading, Scrabble, beach mats, games and a coffee machine to help you enjoy those lazy mornings. The nearest shop is a couple of minutes stroll up the cobbled street and it sells great fresh bread every morning. For those with young children a travel cot and bedding is provided. There is also a washing machine, DVD player, TV and stereo. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. The lounge contains a high quality double sofa bed. All bedding and towels are provided. Whilst there is not a pool on site, there are several which can be used free of charge in the village.

Burgau is located on the edge of a national park and enjoys beautiful surrounding countryside. Nearby Lagos is excellent for shopping and the beach there offers a wide range of watersports. Many of the beaches near Burgau are well known surf beaches and several have surf schools. There are endless activities and those who enjoy sports, particularly golf, are well catered for. There is a five star golf resort, Parque de Floresta, only 5 minutes drive away. They also offer many other sporting activities and have a spa which offers beauty treatments. Nearby there are stables if you would like to go riding and a wonderful zoo/wildlife park, which younger children love as many of the birds wander freely! The new Formula 1 track opened in Portimao (a 20 minute drive away from the apartment) in Spring 2009. It offers exciting activities and is a must for Formula 1 and motorbike enthusiasts.!

This property was everything we had been told by the owner and more .Burgau is gorgeous one of the nicest places we have stayed in.when we were told the beach was a minute away we couldnt believe it .It was actually closer!!! Excellent restaurants and very freindly people.Thanks Blake and Deb
