This vacation rental is the ground floor of a three storey family house, built on 2004. It is modern, with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and a bathroom. The total living area is 80 sq. m., accommodates up to 5 people. There is a private yard in arrears with bamboo sofa and armchairs. Four banana trees are shadowing the yard. In the front side of the flat there is a garden with grass and a BBQ. The apartment is fully equipped and furnished.

The house is located in the upper side of Glyfada. It has easy access to both seaside and city centre. The visitor can easily access a “blue flag” sandy beach with in 2-3 km distance, enjoying all kind of facilities in organised beaches like summer sports, sun beds, umbrellas, beach bars etc. Some kilometres further along the coastline, towards cape Sounio, one can find fantastic picturesque places to enjoy swimming. The historic centre of Athens (Acropolis, Plaka) in not more than 15-20 minutes away. In the centre of Glyfada (10 minutes away) the visitor will find variety of coffee stores (Starbucks cafe etc.), bars, restaurants, international chain stores (McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Apple Bees, TGIF etc.) and all kind of entertainments

Additional information about rental rates

  • A engagement deposit of 30% is required for the booking. The residual amount should be paid in full 3 weeks before the arrival date.
    Ask for discounted prices for more than 2 weeks rental periods.
    The Low Period rates are not aplicable from the 20th of December until the 10th of January.
  • For up to 2 persons no utilities expenses will be charged. If more than 2 persons then for every person a cost of 3 Eur per day will be charged for utilities expenses.
  • 90% refund if canceled before 6 weeks from the arrival date. 50% refund if canceled before 4 weeks from the arrival date.

Comfortable, well equipped, decorated in good taste. Everything 'works' - you just arrive with your suitcase and everything you need is there. This is the exception here, as we have since discovered. It was the first place we stayed in upon our arrival in Greece.
I frankly think it's terrifying to commit to something like this over the internet but George speaks perfect English, is charming, civilised and discreet. The apartment is everything he says it is and more. He restored our faith in human nature - hopefully, we helped restored a little of his....

Great Place to stay

The house was very well organized, comfortable and clean.

My wife's parents stayed there for 10 days during the summer of 09. They were very happy with the warm hospitality and the location. The house is close to the mountain and 10 minute drive to the seaside, main shopping district and restaurants; and a 30 minute drive to the airport.

We would suggest to anyone to stay there.

Nous avons louer cet appartement deux semaines en Aout 2009.
Tres bon accueil du proprietaite, tres sympa et discret.
Appartement tres bon etat, calme, frais(important au mois d'aout). Proche d'Athenes, a 15 mn en voiture de la mer. Supermarche Carrefour a 5mn.
Le plus: chien tolere (rare en Grece!)

i was in Georges apartment for 8-9 days. Very well equiped and comfortable. Best thing was cleanliness nd no noise. I definitely will stay again in the same property.
