Resort facilities: LANDSCAPE - The resort stands amidst lush tropical gardens designed by leading landscape gardening expert Veronica Shingleton-Smith. The 'managed wild gardens' are aimed at softening the edges of the buildings by planting 'the colours and scents of the rainforest'. LAPLI SPA - Lapli, which means both 'rain' and 'blessings' in the Creole language, is designed to reflect the hues and tones of the Caribbean Sea and sky. Each treatment room has its own private deck with open-air shower and there is a Zen garden with ofuru wooden soaking tubs and massage cabanas. DINING & ENTERTAINMENT - Discovery's restaurants offer everything from haute cuisine to simple snacks. Enjoy the elegant ambience of The Rainforest Hideaway, the colonial charm of The Boudreau, or the harbourside buzz of The Coffee Dock. There are four bars, one across the bay, another (the Pink Snail) which is a tribute to the film Dr do little, and the world famous Hurricane Hole Bar restored to its former glory.

Resort Facilities: ACTIVITIES - For the active, the Discovery fitness centre has state of the art cardio equipment and weightlifting machines. There are two swimming pools and a wide range of water sports including sailing, sea kayaking, scuba diving and snorkelling. The famous palm fringed beach is a two minute ferry ride across the bay. MARINA VILLAGE & MARINA - Next door to the resort is The Marina Village. This picturesque little Caribbean style courtyard has a full range of facilities including banking and shopping (including up-market boutiques and duty free outlets), an art gallery, a bakery and ice cream parlour and a cafe bar with views over the harbour entrance.

Marina / Beach / Further Information: A charming marina sits at the base of the resort, offering restaurants, shops, entertainment and access to the famous sand spit beach, a two-minute ferry ride from the resort (the small ferry boat runs to and fro all day).
