Strategically positioned five minutes from the beaches of Gallipoli, near Galatone City, Gallipoli, Lecce and its Baroque Art, the charming house 'Mandorla' represents the ideal destination for a holiday in Salento. Built in 2007, using environmentally friendly materials, available to guests a garden of 7000 metres with herbs like capers, thyme, citronella, sage, lavender, rosemary. The house is decorated in style with Salentine beds in wood, oriented toward the north. And 'course fresh because its walls are thick, so that you can do without air conditioning. The' Almond' has two double bedrooms large, two bathrooms, a large living room, kitchen and storage room and a fireplace outside for barbecues. The patios in the service of the house are spacious and furnished with tables, chairs, lounge chairs and hammocks so that returning from the sea guests can enjoy the cool evening and the beautiful starry sky of Salento thanks to the absence of exterior lighting;

We didn't stay in this house but one close by also owned by Antonella. We had a wonderful stay and I'd highly recommend it. Antonella has a wonderful organic farm and she has these holiday rentals on the property. It's a wonderful location surrounded by olive tress and so peaceful, and yet you're only 5 minutes from Gallipoli and about 25 minutes from Lecce. The houses have been very sypmathetically furnished and have great terraces and even an outdoor shower in the olive trees for those hot days. Antonella herself is lovely and is a great host. She's completely trustworthy, very friendly, and really wants you to have a good stay in Puglia. She also speaks good English and can give you recommendations for local places and restuarants etc. Our small house was great for 2 people and this house looked great for a family. If you want to get away from it all, have peace and quiet but still have easy access to the beach and towns then this is the place.
