Moraira:
Moraira situated in a picturesque bay has grown from a pretty fishing village to an attractive and charming holiday resort. The village is only 15 minutes walk from the apartment, it has a fine sandy beach, a large marina, an excellent variety of shops, a weekly open air market and many superb restaurants and bars. There are many excellent local beaches ideal for variety of water sports or just sun bathing.Unlike much of Spain, Moraira has no high rise or large hotel buildings. It is truly the jewel of the Costa Blanca.
On second weekend in June there is the annual “Moors and Christians” fiesta weekend – a spectacular event put on by the town locals that is something to be enjoyed by all age groups. Moraira is one of those towns that people - including the local inhabitants - just love to stroll round and take in its life at any hour of the day.
Moraira:
Moraira is the perfect place from which to enjoy this part of the Costa Blanca, there are many places to visit along the coast. Javea has a lovely old town, a fine beach, a fishing harbour, restaurants and a golf course. Denia has a lovely marina and a beautiful tree lined main shopping street. Calpe renowned for the fish restaurants near the harbour and fine sandy beaches. Inland you will find the beautiful Jalon valley, the historic town of Guadalest, the Algar water falls and many typical Spanish villages. Benidorm only 30 minute drive with selection of water parks.Moraira has four beaches, each very different in character from the others. The beach of El Portet is the northernmost of these, being situated at the end of a sheltered shell-shaped bay, quiet with clear water and a gently sloping seabed, being ideal and safe for swimming. The town beach, or L'Ampolla, is a large sandy beach with a play area and restaurants.

One of the most beautiful towns in the Costa Blanca is Teulada-Moraira. Nestling between the mountains and the sea, the wonderful climate of this specific area boasts an average yearly temperature of 18°C.
The Costa Blanca is undoubtedly one of Spain’s most attractive regions with such coastal towns of Moraira, Calpe, Javea and Altea offering seaside fun for the younger families or, for those wanting a more relaxing time, there are places of interest to visit and places to eat and drink at the pace of an elderly snail. The climate here is superb and also rated very highly by The World Heath Organisation. This country produces spectacular landscapes with rolling valleys and mountains almost wherever you go and the evening sunsets, particularly in the winter, can be absolutely stunning.
