Would you like to holiday in the Südheide (southern heath). Our holiday home (family-oriented) accredited with three stars and Rosa Ball (70 sq.m) offers place for up to 6 persons. A parking space right at the doorstep, a private garden with seating arrangement and barbecue are a part of the holiday home. You can completely relax here. You almost cannot hear the noise from traffic. Instead you hear the clucking of chickens, the cackling of geese and ducks as well as the bleating of German Heath, which are held in free-range in the adjacent meadow. There is a lot of space for children to play. Therefore, slides with climbing tower, a sand box, a swing, a basketball hoop as well as various children vehicles are provided. Of course, you may also help once to feed the poultry and search for eggs. As time permits, you can join a tractor ride.

Oldau lies approximately 15 km west of the romantic half-timber-town of Celle. Aller, the largest Heath river, flows directly past our yard. You can marvel at one of the oldest hydroelectric power stations of Germany here. Oldau is surrounded by forests, meadows and fields, with many well designed bicycle trails and footpaths where you can soak up on some fresh air. The romantic half-timber city of Celle obtained the title 'most beautiful city in Germany' in the competition between the cities in 2001. The oldest building in Celle is the ducal palace, Schloss Celle, which was mentioned for the first time in 1318. In the course of the time, the originally simple castle was rebuilt and expanded to a lavish four wing building. The castle harbors the oldest, as of today, baroque theater of Germany. The old town church and the numerous museums are also worth a visit. If at times you do not wish to go sightseeing, you can simply stroll through the numerous shops or relax in a cafe.

Recreational Activities: There are many tourist attractions in the beautiful scenic surroundings. So lies Oldau on the lower Mühlenstraße with the historical hydroelectric power station in Oldau. The next post mill is in the neighboring place of Winsen/Aller. Numerous beautiful bike trails and hiking trails invite for walks and bike rides in the beautiful Lüneburg Heath. Our farm lies directly on the new of Aller-bike-lane. Also many bridle paths in the natural landscape offer picnic opportunities to you and your horse. Coach rides can be organised. If at times you do not wish to run, you can undertake boat cruises on the Aller or canoe trips (Aller, Örtze and other Heath rivers). It is approx. 100 m to the Oldau Allerschleus from our farm. The boat rental in Winsen lends paddle boats. Beautiful day tours: Wolfsburg Autostadt, Medicinal Plant garden in Celle, German petroleum museum Wietze, dinosaur park Münchegagen, Ersepark Uetze, Heide-park Soltau, otter-center Hankensbüttel etc.

Bathing and Wellness: The lido in the neighbouring town of Ovelgönne (3 km), the indoor and open-air pool Winsen (4 km) as well as the adventure pool in Celle (15 km) offer the opportunity to bathing beauties. You can also rightly pamper yourself in the wellness area of the Celle Spa. Sauna, Solarium, massages as well as medical baths and practices let you forget the everyday life.

Ski: The mountain calls even in the Lüneburg Heath! Snow-dome is the first ski hall of north Germany which leaves nothing more to desire. From the beginner to the whiz, everyone gets their money's worth. There is everything, whether skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing. Various ski-runs make everything possible.

Einfach zum Wohlfühlen

Gute Erholung

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt, sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet und befindet sich in ruhiger Lage.
Von dort aus ist es auch nicht weit zu zahlreichen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, die wir in dieser Woche intensiv genutzt haben (z.B. Heidepark Soltau, Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen, Zoo Hannover, Schokoland Peine und Celler Badeland). Geholfen hat uns bei der Planung unserer Ausflüge auch die umfangreiche Prospektsammlung. Eine Woche ist leider etwas knapp, aber wir haben uns prächtig erholt. Vielen Dank noch einmal an unsere Vermieter

wir fanden es in der Ferienwohnung sehr schön. Sie war mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und geräumig.

Unser Sohn fühlte sich auf Anhieb wohl und fand es toll ,mit den Tieren zu spielen.

Schöne Ostern 2009

Wir waren mit 3 Personen an Ostern 2009 in der unteren Ferienwohnung untergebracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sehr geräumig. Es war alles sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr ansprechend. Die Familie ist sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Nähe zur Lüneburger Heide bietet eine Menge Möglichkeiten für Ausflugsziele. Wir können den Serengeti Park Hodenhagen, den Vogelpark Walsrode und den Filmtierpark in Eschede empfehlen.
Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.
