Very convenient for the Sunday 'Zoco' open air market, and just 5 minutes drive to the Cuidad Quesada shops, restaurants, bars and water park. The local area is very peaceful making this property ideal for visitors requiring a restful holiday. For walkers the hills and cave area of Rojales is walking distance or a short drive to the 'setting off' point. Golfers will find several excellent quality courses within a short drive. Cyclists will find the local cycle track which starts at the Quesada roundabout and can be followed straight into Torrevieja. Coach day trips to Benidorm and other places of interest are advertised in the local free press.

• Transport to/from airport can be arranged at very competitive prices, alternatively car hire can be arranged.
  
  A 'welcome pack' is available on request, this usually consists of bread, coffee, tea, milk, drinking water and breakfast goods.
  
  Pushchairs, high chairs and cots are available for hire if required.
  Housekeeping service charges are payable to Viva on arrival.
  Basic cost is 50 € for up to 4 persons in a 2 bedroom property, 55 € for up to 4 persons in a 3 bedroom property, and an additional 5€ for each additional person.

Local Information/Quesada & Rojales

CUIDAD QUESADA is a rapidly growing town with an impressive entrance via arches beneath a tower. Quesada has panoramic view of the salt lakes of Torrevieja, mountain ranges and orange and lemon groves. Situated between Rojales and Los Montesinos, this is a central location with access to the AP7 motorway and N332 coastal road. Alicante airport is 20 minutes drive and San Javier is about 35 minutes away. Guadamar beach is only about a 10minute drive away and you can be in Torrevieja in a further 5 minutes, where there are several blue flag beaches. The town has a range of bars and restaurants catering for all tastes and a good selection of shops. Quesad is well known for its 18 hole golf course, La Marquesa and also has its own water park for family fun.

Salt Lakes

The two salt lakes which surround Torrevieja create a wonderful climate all year round, and are beneficial for people with arthritis and chest problems. According to the WHO (World Health Organisation) the climate here is one of the healthiest in the world. This is mainly due to the Salt Lakes, which combined with the surrounding mountainous area creates a climate beneficial to suffers of rheumatism, arthritis and asthma. For many it’s a daily routine to partake in a mud bath for the healing properties. The lakes are home to a host of wild life including large flocks of flamingos.

There is an excellent bus service along the coast to and from Torrevieja and local towns. The Habaneras shopping centre is just outside the centre and boasts some very fashionable stores, and bars, restaurants and cafes. There is a ten pin bowling alley various ‘fast food’ outlets, a casino and large Carrefour hypermarket Torrevieja Marina with it’s long pier, has many restaurants and bars stretching along the harbour, which has international status as well as a fun fair. Torrevieja centre is overflowing with bars restaurants street cafes and bars plus nightly gift and souvenir market stretching along the promenade selling just about everything.
