Our recently restored independent ancient farmhouse offers the perfect location for your next vacation. In the ground floor there are a kitchen, a sitting room, and a bathroom. In the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The apartment is provided with a fridge, a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, kitchenware, bed linen, weekly change for bathrooms and kitchen linen. The two floors communicate with an internal stair. The swimming pool is shared with the main house. One km away and in sight of the house a big artificial lake exists on the Tiber river. It is possible to sail and fish on the lake. The house is surrounded by forests and meadows where wild animals live. It is possible to see roe-bucks, fallow-deers, wild boars, porcupines, badgers, foxes, hares grazing or simply walking around. Season vegetables, fruits, home wine are eventually available. Dogs and cats are accepted only outside the house.

Brancialino is located in the middle of an old historic area. Originally it was a Roman observatory along the “Via Ariminensis” which connected Arezzo –a former Etruscan lucumonia– to Rimini. Ruins of the Roman bridge on the Tiber lay now under the water of the artificial lake one km away. When Caesar descended to take power in Rome (alea iacta est!), he sent Antonio along Via Ariminensis to assure the faithfulness of the Tuscan people, while he descended along Via Flaminia.. Within one hour drive you can reach Arezzo, Cesena, San Marino, Perugia, Urbino, besides Sansepolcro and Pieve S. Stefano. Within two hours drive you can reach Siena, Firenze, Bologna, Rimini, Urbino, Cortona besides the Adriatic sea and lake Trasimeno

How to reach the House: Brancialino is located on the hills between Sansepolcro and Pieve S. Stefano. You can reach us from the E45, in Sansepolcro take the SR258 in direction Rimini. After Km 10 you take on the left following the sign Brancialino, on an non paved road for one Km. After you have reached the castle, take left for another 400 m. At the end of the road you reach “La Penna”.
