La bergerie du Gailland . Romantic and cosy the cottage is the original 'bergerie' or shepherd's hut that is now the ground floor apartment of our chalet. Just outside and with easy access to Chamonix town centre you will benefit from the lovely quiet location near the picturesque Lac Gailland .Off road parking or , leave the car behind and use the MontBlanc Railway to access all the lifts ,summer or winter.No hidden extras, linen and towels included..

Location: Ideally situated 1 1/2 miles from town centre with easy access by bus and train (available free ),just a few yards from Lac Gailland , the petit balcon sud and other footpaths. Local shopping facilities just a few minutes walk away including supermarket, boulangerie etc.

Die Ferienwohnung besticht durch ihre zentrumsferne Lage und einen schönen Blick auf das Mont-Blanc-Massiv bei sehr guter Verkehrsanbindung. Größe und Ausstattung der kleinen Einliegerwohnung sind für 2 Personen ausreichend. Was als romantisch angepriesen wird, entpuppt sich allerdings schnell als alt, sanierungsbedürftig und unsauber. Die Elektroinstallationen sind abenteuerlich; das Bad zweckmäßig für anspruchslose Gemüter (schadhafte Armaturen und eine defekte Toilettenbrille sind noch die kleinsten Übel). Der Vermieter war in der Regel nicht erreichbar. Es gab weder eine Begrüßung noch eine Verabschiedung der Gäste. Trotz pünktlicher Anreise zur von uns angegeben Zeit war z.B. niemand anwesend; und es blieb uns überlassen herauszufinden, daß die Tür zur Ferienwohnung offen war und zur Identifikation unsere Gästekarten auf dem Tisch lagen. Was bleibt, sind schöne touristische Erlebnisse in der Region. Unseren Freunden können wir diese Ferienwohnung aber aus unserer Sicht nicht weiterempfehlen.
