HEAVY NOISE

The villa is nice BUT there is a massive construction site right next to villa. The owner did NOT mention anything about the construction site.

The noise from the construction site continued from Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm. The noise is so LOUD you can not hear your own thoughts, when they hammer the rock.

I really do NOT recommend to hire this villa.
We would have hired another villa if we would have known this. We complained to owner and had to negotiate discount. The discount was not enough.
Owner's Response: There is currently a construction of a villa close neighbor to us,
the opening of the site took place in early April and we asked the owner of the site the date of finishing the earthworks and we replied that it was scheduled for late June
During the week the rock hammer worked 2 days and subsequent days were the removal of rocks (including less noise and media)
Bookings scheduled for the month of June had been canceled and customers of their deposit refunded in all honesty vis-à-vis them. The reservation of 4 to 11 July which was to qualify for the finishing work remained terrassement.a
Given the unfortunate circumstances of nuisance caused by this work and are beyond our control we have agreed to a discount of 25% on the amount of the lease. And even offered to refund the customer if he wanted from the total in another location, and he preferred to stay

The client finds this insufficient compensation, although we were not obliged to accept this negotiation. We find his claim moved.

We draw the attention it was given the opportunity with the amount of carry in the day walks and visits to the Riviera, where the work interfere.
