Ideal summer holiday or winter rental. Converted and improved, traditional stone built house, partly 11th century chapel. Modernized and fully equipped. The vaulted kitchen has recently been recently installed and provided with washing machine, dishwasher and American Fridge/Freezer. 5 mins walking distance from the unspoilt village of Le Thoronet which has good local amenities including a supermarket, bakers, butchers, newsagents, wine co-operative, hairdressers, beauty spa, doctor, post office, cash point, bar and 4 restaurants. The nearest towns are Le Luc, approximately 5 miles distance, and Lorgues, approximately 8 miles, both of which have a wider range of shops, supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants, together with local markets- Le Luc on Fridays and Lorgues, which is the largest open air market in the region, on Tuesday.

A short drive will take you to the famous Provençal Lavender fields. The region also offers some the most unspoilt medieval French villages to explore. The beaches of the Cote D'Azure are also within easy reach.

Accessibility The property is suitable for some disabled users. There is sleeping accommodation and a shower room and WC situated on the ground floor. The property could also be suitable for wheelchair access. There is only one step into house from front door and once inside the ground floor accommodation is all on one level. Outside Enclosed rear garden with patio, table and chairs, reclining chairs, BBQ, large inflatable pool. Views of mountains and vineyards. Separate parking area for 3-4 vehicles and raised terrace with views over the vineyards towards the village, on the other side of the property. Coast/Beach The beaches of St Tropez, St Maxime and St Raphael are approximately three quarters of an hour drive away. The beach at St Maxime is the most convenient for parking as it is possible to park for free directly alongside the beach. The Gorge du Verdon, which is the largest of it's kind in Europe, and the Lac St Croix are also within easy reach.

Perfect for families

The pictures don't lie - it was just as presented. My wife and I stayed with our four children and another mom with her daughter. There was ample room and superbly furnished with amenities. The property was just lovely, and outside of some electrical issues, perfect. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely return. We like to roam where tourists don't, and found the local advice from the nearby tourist office invaluable,as well as the info the owners of the property provided in their Welcome Book. Loved taking the empty jug provided across the street to fill up at the local vineyard co-op...5 litres of good wine for less than six Euros. Also enjoyed Draguinon quite a bit, and of course the grand canyon - stunning.

This lovely home has a very homely welcoming feel. It is equipped with everything you could need in order to have a stress-free, relaxing holiday. We really enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden and taking our meals al fresco.
The house even has basic food staples so there is no panic about buying food as soon as you arrive. Loved the American Fridge/freezer - cold water and ice on tap at all times - we must get one.
The house is set in a delightful village location with easy access to a wide selection of nearby beaches and villages and areas for sightseeing. We will definitely be coming again.
