Fantastic Vacation in Eze

My wife and I spent 8 days at Mr. Race's flat. It was perfect for the two of us. The apartment is located ~11km from Nice and the ride is very scenic. The main draws for us were the view, the pool, convenience, and how modern the flat looked. Upon arrival, the flat exceeded our expectations. The bed was comfortable, living room and kitchen were cozy yet functional. The view from the over-sized terrace looks out to the sea and Cap Ferrat. The layout is conducive to spending most of your time out there. The pool is just a short walk up the driveway and has incredible views of Eze and the sea. It was kept at 29 Celsius and extremely clean. We went in the end of May so getting a lounge chair was not an issue. It seemed like it worked for families with kids very well. We enjoyed everything the apartment had to offer including the bottle of Rose that was given to us. We had one little issue with the hot water in the bathroom which was examined promptly by the guardien of the complex. The entire operation there and communication with the owner was first rate. The parking on site was key! I would return in a heartbeat! The only items i missed are WIFI and satellite TV.

As part of our modus operandi, it is our intention to ensure that we have done everything we can, in order to ensure that our guests have the opportunity to fully enjoy their stay at L‘etoile d‘Eze. The stunning terrace views of Eze, and Cap Ferrat are a major feature of our location, that and the exclusivity of the complex, therefore finding a poolside lounger is never a problem.
This season we have found that the age and design of the Italian gilded bathroom fittings, coupled with the hardness of the local water have resulted in calcification of the shower operating valves, a problem we have already addressed for this season, thanks to the patience and understanding of our last guests. We are in process of seeking a more permanent solution in the longer term.
The facilities of computer access, and Satellite TV have been raised infrequently. We are still actively researching the provision of these. One presents problems of security in our domestic setting, the other is the lack of ability to obtain planning permission, and to locate an unobtrusive setting to install a satellite dish.
With such a distinguished international clientele, it is a supremely difficult task to satisfy every guests requirements, but we hope we succeed in most respects.
Self critique based on customer feedback is always a rewarding exercise, because we would like our guests to feel confident enough to return to L’etoile d’Eze.
