Pickwell Manor is set in the hamlet of Pickwell which is minutes away from the popular beach locations of Croyde and Woolacombe. The Manor is set within 6 acres of attractive grounds including an Italian garden, a walled garden and secluded woodland. The Manor offers spectacular views out over the Devon countryside towards the coast less than half a mile away. The Manor is ideal as a location for groups of friends or family to escape together, simply to share a holiday or to celebrate a special occasion . Pickwell is very spacious and is arranged in such a way that it can accommodate groups from 2 up to 38 on a self catering basis . There is a games room, a tennis court and a ballroom (which can be used by groups for celebrations by prior arrangement). Pickwell Manor is minutes walk away from the golden sands of Puttsborough beach with its famous surfing and sand dunes and the local village of Georgeham with its pubs and village. An ideal location for adults and children!

The North Devon Coast boasts spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches whatever the season.The beaches are recognised as possibly some of the finest and cleanest in Europe - with two miles of soft golden sand, plenty of rock pools and amazing surf. The area of Saunton, Croyde, Georgeham and Woolacombe are in the heart of the Gold Coast and are the best beaches in North Devon. It is an area of outstading natural beauty. There are a number of local golf courses, the closest being Willingcott just 2 miles away near Woolacombe or Saunton Golf Club located at Saunton Sands. There are lots of beautiful places to go for country and cliff top walks with Exmoor to the east and the National Trust coastlines in either direction. In addition there are many interesting places to go for day trips including Lundy Island, and the pretty seaside villages of Lynton, Lynmouth, Instow and Appledore. The Manor is also within easy reach of shopping in Braunton and Barnstable.
