A Self catering, Andalucian style upper apartment on small privately owned mature complex in a hillside position, consisting of several 2 storey small blocks with garden areas. Accommodation offers one air conditioned bedroom with twin beds, bathroom with full sized bath & shower over, bidet, toilet & wash basin. A comfortably furnished lounge with satellite TV and air conditioning, separate fully fitted kitchen & dining area + walk in storage cupboard containing washing machine. A good sized balcony with doors from both the bedroom and lounge features to the front of the property, and a private garden at the rear with access via a slope from the car park is ideal for sunbathing. The shared swimming pool is a few yards away, surrounded by communal gardens. There is a useful supermarket approx 7 mins walk down the hill, and local shops and beaches in Torreblanca and Los Boliches are within easy walking distance. Bed linen is supplied, and the apartment is serviced after each rental.

The apartment is in a picturesque hillside position with views to the sea. Nearby is the charming small town of Los Boliches and miles of sandy family beaches, plus many good beach bars and restaurants, all within walking distance of the apartment. Golf courses are within easy driving distance, and there is a lively night life in Fuengirola with many bars and restaurants. There are local shops and a large shopping complex nearby, also Aqua parks, and a Zoo in Fuengirola. A busy market features every Tuesday in Fuengirola, and on Friday in nearby Benalmadena. There is also Casino in Bealmadina A nice Port and Marina and an English Theatre which has productions most weeks of the year are worth a visit. There is a local English radio station and free local newspapers in English.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment, we found that it was comfortable,clean and well equiped for self catering. The outside private garden was a bonus as we could sit outside the front of the apartment in privacy for some of the day. From the balcony there was a nice view of the pool and the sea. The apartment is on a hill but there is a taxi rank by Torreblanca station where you can get a taxi to the apartment for 4.50euros if you dont drive. We found the owners Bob and Jenny very efficient and extremely nice to deal with.

Relaxing break

We stayed at this apartment from 4 to 12 September. It is very comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need. There is a sea view from the balcony, which was an added bonus we hadn't expected. The private garden was also perfect for relaxing in the sunshine which was great as often apartments have little outside space other than a terrace or balcony. The area around the pool is nice and was popular with sunbathers, and the pool temperature in September was ideal for swimming in. I would say that whilst the photographs give an idea of how the area looks, they do not do it full justice as I had been slightly concerned it may feel slightly closed in, this is certainly not the case.

It was a 10 to 15 minute walk downhill to the seafront where there is a long sandy beach, and the majortiy of restaurants can be found. It is possible to walk into Feungirola, but there is a bus, and I also saw a small train on the road, which may also go there. You can also take the train from Torreblanca station to a number of areas along the coast. It is cheap, runs on time and gets you to Fuengirola in a few minutes, and to Malaga (including the airport) in around 30 to 35 minutes

We would like to have stayed longer, and hope to return at some time
