• A 20% booking fee is required, the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday together with a refundable damage bond. Transport to/from airport can be arranged at very competitive prices, alternatively car hire can be arranged.
  
  A 'welcome pack' is available on request, this usually consists of bread, coffee, tea, milk, drinking water and breakfast goods.
  
  Pushchairs, high chairs and cots are available for hire if required.
  Housekeeping service charges are payable to Viva on arrival.
  Basic cost is 50 € for up to 4 persons in a 2 bedroom property, 55 € for up to 4 persons in a 3 bedroom property, and an additional 5€ for each additional person.

General Information about Torrevieja

At just over two hours flight from the UK, and 47 kilometres drive from Alicante airport to the town, Torrevieja benefits from 326 days a year sunshine with an average temperature of 18C. A beautiful town on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, with its excellent weather, stunning coastline and abundance of culture, this area is quickly developing into one of the most well respected destinations within the Costa Blanca. Originally a small fishing village, Torrevieja has grown considerably over the years into a thriving town surrounded by some of the most envied beaches of the world. With their breathtaking crystal clear waters and fine sand, it comes as no surprise to learn that the beaches of Torrevieja – Los Naufragos, Los Locos, El Acequion, Playa de la Cura and La Mata – have all held the distinguished European Blue flag award for many years.

Beaches and Salt Lakes

Most of these beaches and others nearby (such as the 44km long beaches of La Manga) have many features including entertainment for children, bars, restaurants, beach sports, and paragliding and water sports. The two salt lakes which surround Torrevieja create a wonderful climate all year round, and are beneficial for people with arthritis and chest problems. According to the WHO (World Health Organisation) the climate here is one of the healthiest in the world. This is mainly due to the Salt Lakes, which combined with the surrounding mountainous area creates a climate beneficial to suffers of rheumatism, arthritis and asthma. For many it’s a daily routine to partake in a mud bath for the healing properties. The lakes are home to a host of wild life including large flocks of flamingos. Town and Activities

In addition to the magnificent sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, squares, parks, gardens and natural beauty spots, historical monuments, golf clubs and the best Yacht club in Spain, flying clubs, all water sports, football and sports stadiums. water park, fairground, theatre and cinemas, in short something for everyone. There is an excellent bus service along the coast to and from Torrevieja and local towns. The Habaneras shopping centre is just outside the centre and boasts some very fashionable stores, and bars, restaurants and cafes. There is a ten pin bowling alley various ‘fast food’ outlets, a casino and large Carrefour hypermarket Torrevieja Marina with it’s long pier, has many restaurants and bars stretching along the harbour, which has international status as well as a fun fair.
