SAN ANTONIO San Antonio de Portmany, the name comes from the Latin Portus Magnus, is the largest natural harbor on the island and the main tourist centre. Easily accessible both by sea and by road are the most beautiful and well-known beaches of Ibiza. San Antonio is a part of the island that visitors should not miss; its urban nucleus is one of the busiest areas during night and day. IBIZA REGION The port of Ibiza, situated in a natural bay, is the main point of access by sea, landing in La Marina, where for many years the local fishermen and sailors had their base, and which today is the main shopping and nightspot in the Ibiza area. After sunset, its streets come alive with people who enjoy the nightlife, which can be many things: a stroll, having a drink or simply to be seen. As everyone knows, the climate in Ibiza in the summer is superb, and during the winter the temperatures vary between a minimum of 7°C and a maximum of 20°C, with up to six hours of sun per day.
