In the heart of the small but impressive island of Ortigia, the historical centre of Syracuse, history and modern comforts go hand in hand. The wonderful apartment “Casa Archimede” is located in a stylish baroque building, and is unusually spacious at 150 sqm. Beautifully designed, it is ideal for those who want to enjoy their holiday in company, with space to relax and spend time together but also plenty of opportunities to be alone for a while. “Casa Archimede” extends across two levels, easily connected by stairs. The apartment features typical south Italian stone floors throughout. Every room is individual, lovingly decorated in modern or ethno style. Beautiful wooden ceilings lend it a magnificent warm atmosphere. The house faces a reduced-traffic street, about 50 metres away from the Fonte Aretusa (Aretusa Fountain), one of the best known and most frequently photographed sights in Ortigia.
