You have been exclusively chosen to admire the masterpiece of the modernist architect Antoni Gaudi, la Sagrada Familia, because we have the best view in the whole city. Flats are fully equipped: bed linen, towels and all you need in the kitchen. Air-conditioning, heating, Hi-Fi, DVD player and WiFi internet. We have a cot and a special seat for babies. My name is Artur, I speak English and I live in the same building with my wife Joana so we can help you any time and provide information about the city and neighbourhood. We personally take care of the cleaning and everything you may need during your stay. The flat has two bedrooms, both of them have balconies and the living room has two balconies more that face the cathedral’s main facade. So there is a lot of natural light in the whole flat. The private terrace (120sqm) is just a dream come true for sunbathers and admirers of great views. You have restaurants, supermarkets, and all kinds of services nearby.

great accomodation, great view

This accomodation is in an excellent location, central to all the various locations you may want to visit while in Barcelona. It was clean and comfortable with a spectacular view of the cathederal. As it says in the info, the flat is 5flights up which is a thought at the end of a busy hot day, and popping out for fresh bread etc for breakfast is a thought but. . as long as you accept that the view at night from the sofa with a glass of wine was worth it, and the air conditioning essential. The owner lived in the flat opposite and offered loads of advice about the best value, transport options, local markets and in general everything that makes a short city break work in your favour.
We did the open top bus tour which was excellent value..2 x 2hour tour and 1 x 40min all for 15euros. Visited the cathederal and queued for an hour to take a lift up inside which was well worth it... take water as it was hot! The beach area was lovely and we took advantage of a great beach massage for 10euros.!
Visit the Gothic area and Las Ramblas take the usual care with bags and street scams. Just wander around the little side streets and stop for refreshments in the little courtyards and just enjoy!
We would recommend the city and definately the accomodation without hesitation.

Excellent location and spacious

We stayed at this apartment this summer and the location is excellent. There's a supermarket right oppposit the apartment and shopping/sightseeing is all within walking distance. The apartment is filled with admirable decor and is big enough for family of 7, The view from the terraces are great too. The only problem is that one of the room has no air conditioning and it gets too hot to sleep at night. We strongly recommend this apartment to other visitors in Spain.

What a spectacular view. This rental was more than a gem but a treasure chest filled with many gems.
the view,
the top terrace,
between the apartment and the Sagrada Familia is a small park where children play and older men play bocci ball.
within a block is the parking garage, a fresh market, a supermarket, an internet site, and a massage/acupuncture office.
There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The metro stops right at the Sagrada Familia and it is always easy to get back by metro bus taxi or foot using the Sagrada Familia as a reference point.
There is a washing machine in the apartment.
The apartment was clean and well taken care of.
Artur and Joanne are wonderful hosts filled with plenty of information and references.
I enjoyed the stairs as a bit of exercise during my overindulging vacation, but anyone with physical disabilities or heart or lung problems would have problems with the stairs.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

We loved this apartment! It had the most stunning view of Sagrada Familia, which was amazing! It was right next to a Metro stop which took us to the city centre in 3 stops. It was quiet and away from all of the noise of the city. The rooftop terrace was a great place to chill with a bottle of wine. The owner, Artur, was a wonderful host who was extremely helpful during our stay. He provided restaurant advice, tourist information and even made reservations for us to see flamenco dancing! We would highly recommend this place.

Flat in front of the Sagrada Familia

The flat was great, the owner very friendly and helpful.
The flat was completly renovated and new furniture; the equipement is sufficient to all comfort.
The view on the Sagrada Familia is amazing - no doubt.
But the only negative point: no elevator in the building...but once a time you're in the appart - it's really worth to climb 100 steps!!!
Fore sure we will come back!
