Fabulous location and great views from this refurbished 4th floor apartment in the center of Chamonix. 95 msq. 3 Bedrooms (one double, with en-suite) 2 twins. Two bedrooms have direct access to balconies and all have spectacular views. Large dual aspect living room with dining table and chairs for 6, 2 sofas and 1 sofa bed sleeping 2, TV, DVD, Stereo, wine fridge. Living room has access to two balconies. Huge balcony views of Mont-Blanc. Fully equipped kitchen: Fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher etc etc. Dedicated underground parking space (height 1m 80cm). Access to residents swimming pool (June to September). Great location - central but quiet. 1 minute walk to town center, shops, buses etc. 8 minute walk to Brevent lift (new bubble for 2009) and 2 minutes to Aiguille du Midi.

Ski: Walking distance (8 minutes) or bus to Brevent lift - new bubble for 2008/9. Brevent ski area is great mix of green, blue, red and black runs. 2 minutes walk to Aiguille du Midi lift, for serious skiers only! Ski rental shop next door. Underground parking means easy early starts. Leave skis in you car in underground car park or inside the flat.

Great location at a great price

We spent a week at this property, family of 4 plus grandparents, and it fit our needs perfectly. It was clean and the living space is very open - plenty of room. Our kids stayed in the smaller bedroom and loved the pool. Right on the edge of the Pedestrian zone - perfect - and it was quiet at night. Grocery and bakery's in a very short walk. Garage was able to handle our XC90 - tight but can be done. Took plenty of sunrise & sunset pic's of Mont Blanc, the Brevant and Aiguille du Midi - from the terrasse. Location manager/contact was very responsive and helpful. There is vanity (sink/mirror) in one of the bedrooms in addition to the other 2 regular bathrooms - makes it nice if one is sharing the apartment with other adults/grown kids. Lift is small but worked out great. As stated, walking distance to the major lifts and about 30m to the bus stops. We were given Chamonix guest cards on arrival so bus service within the Cham Zone was free/gratis.

Good value. Good location.

We really enjoyed our week. The flat location is good and the views are excellent. Balcony is spectacular on a sunny day. The bedrooms are a decent size and the main room is really big. Everything works in the kitchen, but that is starting to look dated, vs the rest of the flat.
Happy to recommend it and we'll probably use it again. Underground parking is handy too, when the town is busy.
