Penthouse apartment with sea views, Boa Vista
Casa Velha ('Old Home') has been newly built using the colors and style of Portuguese colonial architecture, with a single central quintal, typical of the colonial past, overlooked by romantic wooden balconies. It consists of only a few clean elegant apartments and stylish reception, cafe and bar. The penthouse apartment has the romance of sea views, seclusion and privacy ideal for 2, but can sleep 4 easily. A short stroll to the beach, beach restaurants and Sal Rei, and a short drive from the airport. Blends the services of a hotel with the flexibility of self-catering.

Less than 10 mins drive from Boa Vista International Airport (BVC). We can arrange for airport transfer to/from Casa Velha in advance. Car hire is not essential, but can be organised after arrival. Direct flights to BVC from Gatwick (from November 2008) and Manchester (from May 2009), or earlier indirect flights via Sal from Gatwick, Manchester or Birmingham. Please contact us if you need details. The local small town is Sal Rei, a short stroll from the apartment. This is a new resort, so new facilities and buildings are appearing all the time

| Notes: | The apartment is suitable for couples or for families. Casa Velha also has a small cafe, bar and library. Large private terrace, with sea views, 4 large sofas, double deckchair, outside table and chairs etc. It almost never rains, so this is fantastic living space. The bedroom has a romantic wooden balcony, the highest point around and therefore wide views. Facing south-west, ideal for watching the sun setting over the sea. Sheets and towels (not beach towels) provided. Changed weekly. The penthouse is cleaned weekly. Extra cleaning & laundry can be supplied by arrangement with Casa Velha management. Not suitable for disabled, due to stairs. |
