Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday or wish to take advantage of some of the worlds most renowned surfing beaches Vilarinha offers you the best of both worlds. Located at the heart of the valley with breathtaking views across completely unspoilt countryside in the protected Nature Reserve, Casa Verde offers luxurious accommodation. Enjoy outside dining from your own terrace with underfloor subtle lighting, or visit one of the many local restaurants offering everything from Fresh fish, numerous portuguese traditional dishes, to pizza or enjoy more formal dining. The downstairs bedroom can be 2 twin beds or 1 king size bed, and has its own luxury bathroom . Upstairs the double bedroom, with en-suite shower leads directly onto an enclosed private terrace.

This quaint cottage has been lovingly restored to accommodate 2 people but can be rented together with Casa Verde next door for a larger group (up to 6 people). Steps lead up to the front door which opens into the open plan living area with fully equiped kitchen. The comfortable living area is light and well arranged with multi language satellite TV. Hi fi, CD player & Dvd games books and everything you could wish for to ensure your holiday starts from the moment you arrive. Air-con for the summer & heating as well as a log fire for cooler times of the year. The double bedroom ( can be made as a King or twins) also has a discreetly hidden TV. A luxury fitted bathroom with shower over the bath,WC Bidet & vanity. Outside a terrace to the front of the property which overlooks the beautiful and breathtaking valley of Vilarinha. Steps to a wonderful large roof terrace for sunbathing or barbcueing which is a suntrap through out the year..

Vilarinha is situated just around the corner from the busy Algarve in a beautiful area that time seems to of forgotten, & yet it is within easy reach of numerous things to do. Hidden in a valley near the most beautiful beaches & sandunes being 3km from the famous surfing beach Amado, a vast stunning beach with breathtaking views & 2 surfing schools & beach bars. It is also only 3.5km from Bordeira beach which has its own Lagoon surrounded by sand dunes. Parques de Floresta with Golf, Tennis, Archery, a health spa is within an easy 15 minutes drive.( 30% discount to our golfing customers is offered here but please request a card from us at time of booking) here. Windsurfing & Kyaking at Martinal beach, & blow karting & handgliding are all near by. For quieter pursuits you are ideally located for birdwatching, painting, walking & cycling. This peaceful & secluded part of the Algarve is situated right in the Nature Reserve boasting unspoilt beauty & a wealth or protected wildlife.

Ruina Velha has nothing of an old ruin anymore. It is beautiful and extremely cosy, even during the cold nights of January. The setting is amazing and peaceful. We loved it!
