Westpoint is situated on the North Cornish coastal village of Polzeath, which is known for its surfing and wonderful sandy beach. The property is detached and only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the local shops of Polzeath. Downstairs the house has an open plan kitchen/dining room with patio doors onto the terrace and garden. The kitchen benefits from an aga which is on all year round. The fabulous sea view can be enjoyed from most aspects of the house. It has a large sitting room with an open fire, a utility room and a downstairs twin room which is ensuite. Upstairs Westpoint has a master bedroom ensuite, and double room and a bunk room which share the family bathroom.

Polzeath is situated on the North Cornwall coastline. It is famous for it fabulous surfing and sandy beach in addition to all the wonderful coastal walks. Nearby is Rock and Daymer Bay which offers Sailing and water ski-ing. There is a passenger ferry that operates daily from Rock to Padstow. There is the Camel Trial which is for cycling and bikes can be hired in nearby Wadebrige.

Additional information about rental rates

  • During low season and mid season we can offer short breaks for a minimum of 2 nights. These prices are based on 8 persons. If there is only 4 or 6 people please do contact me as we offer a discount for under occupancy.
  • TERMS & CONDITIONS:
    ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE- This is always on a Friday (except short breaks and over Christmas/New Year) We ask that you arrive no earlier than 3.00pm and on the day of departure vacate by 10.00am.
    Please leave the house tidy and clean.
    LINEN - It is not included but can be hired at an additional cost of £50 per week.
    PAYMENT - 30% deposit which is non refundable is due with the booking, the balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
    AVAILABILITY - If for any reason beyond our control eg.fire,flood,storm etc Wespoint becomes unavailable for letting before you arrive, the booking will be treated as cancelled and we will refund any monies already paid but regret we cannot accept responsibility for any other liability or compensation.
    DAMAGE to PROPERTY - We would be grateful if any breakages or damage be reported to us directly and it may be necessary for the guest to be held liable for payment of any replacement or repair.

A perfect pad by the sea.

We have now had several holidays at Westpoint. You simply cannot beat its position - perfect for sitting in the garden with a chilled g&t watching the sun go down.
The house itself is extremely spacious - last year, my husband and I were there with quite a crowd (with our young daughter, sister, in-laws AND aunt!!) and it was absolutely super with the large lounge and great big dining table. (Plus the Aga is perfect for drying post-rock pooling shorts)
It is so thoughfully equipped (the outside shower was great for the surfers amongst us!) and immaculately clean.
The owners, too, are extremely accommodating and ever so friendly.
We have stayed in many holiday homes over the years, but Westpoint has far exceeded them all, and I just can't wait to return this summer.

Just returned from a fabulous weekend at this brilliant house....loads of space, big kitchen, Aga, log fire, large bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, outside shower, BBQ, garden - so the list goes on! Location is perfect - sea views and a very short walk to the beach/shops/pub. Everything clearly marked in the kitchen and nothing seems to have been forgotten. Kids had a fabulous time and will be back for a visit again soon.
