Traditional Swiss chalet in Bernese Oberland Jungfrau region in the popular Alpine resort of Wengen, famous for the Lauberhorn World Cup race and Jungfrau Marathon. Amazing views of Lauterbrunnen valley and Jungfrau Range. Tranquil yet central location just 5 mins. from Maennlichen Cable Car and Jungfrau station. All three apartments in the same chalet, available all year round, sleeping between 2 and 7 people, all self-contained and self-catering with option of catering. All flats have haridryers and are homely and comfortable with many regular guests who return every year.

Self-contained apartment on 2 levels reached by steps to the entrance hall on the first floor. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, separate dining room & lovely sitting room with sofa bed sleeping 2, with balcony offering stunning views of the fabulous scenery. There is a guest WC. with sink also on this level. Upstairs the master bedroom has spectacular views over the waterfalls lit at night The children's bunk bed room is bright and fun with lots of entertainment available! Also possible to put 3rd bed here for families. The brand new (in late 2007) bathroom has twin sinks, large shower & WC. and heated towel rail.

Wengen ideally situated near Interlaken in the centre of Switzerland makes it a perfect base for summer and winter vacations. Easily accessible from Zuerich, Basle, Geneva & Bern airports, then by charming mountain railway to this amazing village. This wonderful historic resort offers superb views of the scenic Lauterbrunnen Valley & surrounding magnificent mountain ranges of the Bernese Oberland. Perched high on a sun terrace often in it's own micro climate! The chalet is a typical Swiss traditional style, only 5 mins. from the station, town centre & cable car. The village is relatively vehicle-free & has a fun & friendly atmosphere in the many restaurants & bars. More lively in the winter with the many winter activities on offer. Situated in between Muerren with the famous James Bond revolving restaurant PIZ GLORIA @ the Schilthorn on one side & the Grindelwald FIRST ski area on the other...one is almost spoilt for choice. Summer hikers & flower enthusiasts will not be disappointed
