Spacious 3 bedroom 3 bathroom lodge in beautiful Highland Perthshire, Scotland The Lodge was built to 5 star standard in 2008 and is now available as a self catering let. It sits within a development of 16 Lodges, surrounded by trees and overlooking a specially constructed Lochan, with views to hills inhabited by deer and other Scottish wildlife. Accommodation, all on the ground floor, comprises 3 bedrooms, all with full en suite facilities. The Master Bedroom comes fitted with a king size bed, Bedrooms 2 and 3 with 2 single beds in each. The living area is open plan with a fully equipped modern kitchen with washing machine, dining area with seating for 8. Additionally there is a seating area with a sofa and sofa-bed, flat screen TV with Sky channels. All the interior fittings and appointments in the Lodge are to the highest standards. Outside there is an ample parking area and decking accessed from the living area with outside dining furniture, positioned over the loch an.

The new luxury property overlooks the Glengoulandie Deer Park, beautiful scenery near Loch Tay. The location offers something for everyone from a relaxing retreat to a base for extreme adventures near Aberfeldy, the white-water rafting capital of the UK. Pitlochry is a few minutes drive and hosts some of the best outdoor activities and for the less adventurous there are great walks of golf nearby. You may want to follow the Castle or Whisky Trails or attend some of the local traditional Scottish events held inc Highland games.

Ski: Skiing is available from late December to around Easter. Glenshee Ski Centre is only 1hrs drive from the lodge. Glenshee's impressive 21 lifts and 36 runs offer an amazing diversity of natural terrain for all standards of skiers and snowboarders. Cairngorms Ski Centre is a bit longer away but it would be possible to go there instead.

Golf: There is a whole range of courses to play locally for all abilities including Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Killin, Strathtay and Taymouth Castle. However there are some more challenging and prestigious championship courses to play within a reasonable drive including Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie.

Other Activities: White water rafting, archery, off roading, quad biking, paintballing, clay pigeon shooting and many other activities are available near by

We recently stayed at Craig Lodge and had a wonderful holiday. The surroundings were beautiful as was the property itself. The lodge was spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was in the lodge and our stay provided the peace and quiet we were looking for. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby Aberfeldy or Kenmore and we enjoyed quadbiking and horse riding amongst others. Lovely walk round the deer park and the scenery if touring is wonderful. Would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Fantastic lodge

Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable. The lodge was beautiful and in excellent condition. The views were lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the decking overlooking the lochan, even in September!! I would certainly recommend this accomodation to my friends and family and look forward to visiting again.

Breathe of fresh air... totally relaxing!

My family and I had the most amazing week at Craig Lodge. As soon as we turned off the road our jaws started dropping, the WOWs continued whilst everyone explored the amazing lodge and then the view blew us oldies in the party away. The Lodge was equipped with the highest quality of furnishings and had every thing you could have wanted - and more. The local area had lots to offer and our ages ranged from 7 to 70, something for everyone. I have absolutely no problem in recommending Craig Lodge to anyone and cannot wait to return. Graham and team provided superb personal care, we thank you!

We did the 4 x 4 off road safari and everyone enjoyed that, especially Dad when he got his nip of Dewars whiskey at "Dull view" stop off. A visit to the Crannog is a must, along with Queens View near Kenmore. Pitlochery is a lovely day out also. If you like waterfalls the one just past the Crannog, with the Hermits Cave is quite a hike uphill but worth it! another Wow!!

Our major learning point was that 8 of us did Kayaking and I wouldn't recommend doing this s inexperienced individuals, and if you do have a party of 8 insist on 2 instructors. Would also not put young children in individual kayaks which they are sealed into. Please ask lots of questions if you do undertake this.

We ate in most nights whilst having a wee dram or two, however we did eat in Kenmore at the oldest hotel and it was lovely. Lots of lovely coffee stop off, the Watermill Book store in Aberfeldy, Menzies House just down the road and Blair Atholl.

I would like to say a big thank you for our wonderful week at Glengoulandie lodges.
The lodge was at a very high standard with nothing at all to fault. It was very clean, tidy and we were provided with every essential needed.
There was plenty to do for everybody, and the surrounding area was lovely.
It was an excellent week and we will certainly be back again.
