El Roque is 25 minutes from the airport, offering picturesque walks and drives in sparkling mountain air. The highest town in Spain, Villa Flor, is a 15 minute drive, the National Park of Mount Teide, 30 minutes, popular beach resorts 20 minutes and golfing, 15 minutes away. Down the road there is a paragliding club and 25 minutes away excellent parasailing and windsurfing conditions in El Medano. The area is renowned for its very good local and international restaurants with a variety of cuisine, and a local restaurant around the corner specializes in typical Canarian dishes. Shopping and excursion arrangements are only a 20 minute drive to Los Cristianos and Playa Las Americas and the old capital of Santa Cruz is a 45 minute drive.
