Here is a lovely two-bedroom apartment of 80 sq.m., right in the centre of Cannes. This apartment is situated just steps away from Place du 18 Juin – where Boulevard Carnot makes its entrance into the sought-after ‘Banane’ area of Cannes – and Place Vauban, where the 210 bus from Nice airport stops. It is less than 10 minutes’ walk to the Palais des Festivals and the sandy beaches of La Croisette. Rue D’Antibes, with its designer shops, is a 5-minute walk away. The apartment is on the third floor of a traditional building with no lift. This apartment impresses from the moment you enter its large entrance hall. It is a bright apartment, with high ceilings and attractive, wooden floors throughout. The walls are white and full-length windows let in plenty of natural light. There is a great sense of airiness. With its 4 twin beds and double sofabed, this is a perfect corporate let for visiting executives attending conferences in the Palais or for larger families on holiday. A real gem!

The apartment is very well situated in the centre of Cannes. You don't need a car - you can walk to everything you need in minutes! Shopping on Rue D'Antibes (5 min), supermarkets (3 min), restaurants (4 min), beaches (less than 10 min), the Palais (9 min), La Croisette (9 min), train station (5 min), bus stops at Hotel de Ville (9 min), marketplace Gambetta (4 min), marketplace Forville (5 min). If you have a car you can head off for the day to St Paul de Vence, Mougins, Grasse, Monte Carlo or St Tropez and be back in time for dinner! All of these places are accessible by train, bus or even boat (in the case of St Tropez).

  • The above prices are FULLY INCLUSIVE and cover the provision of linen & towels for up to 6 people, wifi internet access and final cleaning on departure.
  • Payment terms are 50% of the rental sum is payable on booking and the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. We do require a fully refundable Breakages Deposit of €350 for each booking. This can be taken as a debit to a credit card 3 weeks prior to arrival. The transaction is then reversed after departure, once the apartment is left in an orderly and undamaged condition. Payment is accepted only in euros. We can accept payment by Visa and Mastercard or by electronic bank transfer.

Thank you very much for you recommending this flat in Rue Marius Aune. We all enjoyed our stay in Cannes very much. We were also in Cannes last summer and I am sure we will be back. The flat was super, both inside, "outside", nice neighbours, and very close to everything. Your booking procedures was also very good. Thank you very much!

Great apartment, good location. Surprisingly spacious (compared to many rental apartments), ideal for 2 couples or a family. Had everything you'll need for your stay, even beach mats and an umbrella!

Location quiet and safe, a short walk (via underpass or around and across a couple of busy roads) to the railway station or the centre. Note the lack of a lift in the apartment building (2 floors of stairs).

Local boulangerie, pharmacy close by, plus a couple of mini markets for food (Casino, Monoprix, Champion). Visit rue Meynadier for better bread (from Paul), fresh fish and seafood, cheese, olive oil, etc, Also the Marche Forville in the morning for fresh produce. Walk along rue d'Antibes for upmarket shops and people watching, La Croisette for the big hotels, major luxury brands and the rich and famous, and rue Felix Faure for restaurants looking over the harbour. Pose on the red carpet outside the Palais des Festivals.

We would recommend La Pizza and La Piazza, both at Quai St Pierre. Good food, varied menu to suit a broad range of requirements, and decent prices. Lots of locally produced wine to try, some better than others.

Menton, Monte Carlo, Nice, Antibes, Grasse, etc. all accessible by train from the station in Cannes. Cours Saleya in Nice is a market in the morning and a great place to eat for lunch or in the evening. The old town is much more interesting than the more modern areas. If you go to Grasse, catch the bus up into the town centre as it's a longer walk than it looks. Visit Fragonard perfumier for a free guided tour and a chance to buy their perfumes at factory prices.

Would have rated the apartment a 5-Excellent but we couldn't sort out the internet connection (which was a must-have on our search criteria) and the hot water in the bathroom sink was a cold trickle.
We also had some slight problems returning the keys but that was due to exceptional reasons.

Other than those minor gripes, I'd highly recommend the apartment. The agency managing the apartment were unfailingly helpful, polite and the booking process was simple and efficient.
