Featuring a large, open-plan living room with fully fitted kitchen and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite. Outdoor living is catered for with a large loggia overlooking the village square. There is lift access to this first floor apartment on this gated, prestigious development. Situated around one of the leading 18 hole golf complexes in France, with a new 9 hole golf course to be developed in forthcoming years, both amateur and professional golfers will surely feel at home. But you don’t have to play golf. Perfect for sporting or relaxing holidays, it is a haven for all the family. Facilities include a shared, yet very private pool, a small convenience store, a selection of restaurants and specialist boutiques.

The Golfe du Pont Royal is approximately 2 miles from the village of Mallemort and about half an hour from both Avignon and Aix en Provence. The nearest motorway junction (A7) is at Senas, some 5 miles away. Excellent shopping is available in Salon de Provence and particularly at Le Pontet, just to the north of Avignon some 30 minutes by car along the A7. There is a small convenience store on the development itself with fresh bread daily and pastries and all the basic necessities. English newspapers are also available same day from about 9.00am. Pont Royal has a post office and a number of specialist shops and boutiques. There is a market held twice weekly during the main summer season. Within the Pierre et Vaccances village, there are a number of restaurants catering for most tastes.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A security deposit against breakages etc of £250 will be chargable on each booking and returned on completion of stay. We will ask for a 25% deposit in confirming your booking. Rates are negotiable for stays of more than two weeks.

    Our rental conditions require that your holiday insurance includes liability cover for injury to someone and damage to their property, whilst staying in our apartment.
  • The apartment will be prepared for you by our agent and the cost of this is included within the rental. You will be met on arrival and keys handed to you. You will have a local contact if there are any unforeseen problems during your stay.

    As this is also our home, we would ask you to leave the apartment in the way that you find it.
  • If you are staying longer, then you may wish to have an extra level of cleaning for the apartment; this can be arranged independently with our agent in Pont Royal and chargeable directly to you.

We rented the apartment for 2 weeks and this was our first experience with Holiday Rentals.
When we arrived Yan, the manager was waiting for us at the entrance wat was very nice, because Pont Royal is rather a large area.
The apartment was really fantastic and wel provided. We loved to sit at the balcony and our daugther loved to lay down on this beautiful green sofa and read her Donald Duck.
We went for trips to Aix en Provence, Arles (where we showed our children some paintings of our famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh)
When we came back from our trips it was delightful to relax at the apartment, we felt at home directly.
We really are planning to go back, maybe next year. But we will gome back!
Lynn and Ingrid, thanks for everything. We can recommand your apartment to everyone, because it was the best apartment we ever had in the south of France.
