11 cottage sleeping from 2-10 people. Most situated around a sunny, tranquil courtyard. Several newly-renovated with luxury fitted kitchens (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, fan oven, ceramic hob, etc), bathrooms, excellent heating, comfortable leather furniture, solid wood flooring and cosy bedrooms. All very well-equipped with fitted kitchen (fan oven, hob, microwave, fridge) open plan sitting/dining/kitchen with TV/DVD, bathrooms with bath and shower over or walk-in shower. Several cottages set up to seat groups for meals (up to 20 people) making them ideal for special occasions, get-together, reunions and family events. Just outside Bakewell in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. Ideally located for access to all the major Peak District attractions from stately homes (such as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall) to picturesque towns and villages (Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock, Ashbourne) from energetic activities (walking, climbing, cycling, horse riding) to fantastic scenery (Monsal Head, Dovedale, Castleton, etc). The Peak District has something for everyone. Alton Towers is only about 30-40 minutes away. Carsington Water offers sailing, windsurfing, canoing and other watersports as well as mountain biking.
