Our villa is air conditioned/heated and offers year round facilities for families, golfers and couples. Furnished to high specification it sleeps 8. Downstairs is a fully fitted modern kitchen and large spacious lounge/diner. There are 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 more upstairs. There is 1 bathroom on each floor. The private sun terrace has both a gas and charcoal BBQ and leads onto a large swimming pool and separate shallow pool for children. It is a bright modern villa with all home comforts, including a broadband internet access point. Just bring your laptop and cable to connect to the modem. The location of the villa makes it an ideal base for the many golf courses in the area and is only a 5 minute walk from the beach in Olhos d'Agua which leads onto Falesia beach giving miles of sand and sea. On a quiet road yet beside large supermarket, shops, taxi rank, bus stop, lots of restaurants and bars. Only 5 minute taxi ride to the nightlife in Albufeira and Montechorro.

General Villa Information

The villa has a shared garden with large paved patio area. The private sun terrace has both a charcoal and a gas BBQ. Also on the terrace is a patio table with parasol, 8 chairs and 6 cushioned sun loungers. This leads onto the large swimming pool that is shared by all the villas and a smaller, separate children's pool. Five mins walk to Maria Louise and Olhos D'Agua beaches. 10 minutes to Falesia and it's miles of golden sand. If you are feeling energetic walk from Olhos to Villamoura along the beach. It will take you at least 2 hours and you may wish to get a taxi back. Towels and linen provided (not beach towels). Cleaning takes place before guests arrive. If bookings are for more than 7 nights, further cleaning and fresh towels/linen are provided within the cost. Additional cleaning can be supplied at a local rate.

Distances & Services

The nearest airport is Faro which is approximately 30 minutes by car. It is not necessary to hire a car as all your needs are catered for locally but if you would like to explore the Algarve, drive to Lisbon or over to Spain then we would certainly recommend you hire a car at the airport on the way in, as this saves on taxi fares from and to the airport. We can arrange for a local firm to collect you from the airport at the cost of 25 euro each way for up to 4 persons and 50 euros each way for up to 8 persons (fuel price hikes may cause these prices to change). There are ATM machines in many locations with the nearest located in the local supermarket. There are 3 major banks within 500 metres of the villa. There is a taxi rank, pharmacy, medical centre, shops and a travel agency which caters for all local tours and and amusements about 100metres from villa.

Other Entertainment

There are many theme parks, Splash and Slide, Aqualand, Wet and Wild, Crazy World and Zoo Marine. Tickets for all these events can be booked 100 metres from villa, beside the taxi rank. The Algarve shopping centre is a 30 minute drive with it's hypermarket, boutiques, and numerous restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, bowling alley, and multi screen cinema providing most films in English. The championship courses at Vilamoura are only a 15 minute drive away and nearer to home there is the luxury 5* Sheraton Pine Cliffs resort which boasts it's own 9 hole course overlooking Falesia beach. Also the 9 hole at Balai is only 3 minutes by car. There are 5 quality golf courses 10-15 mins drive from the villa. A local map together with information on all local bars, restaurants and other entertainment is provided, by email, to guests who rent the villa.
