Mountain cottage in beautiful white village inside a natural park

Our self-catering mountain cottage is comfortable, and includes a bedroom for 2 with 2 further beds in section of the lounge separate from the seating and dining table area. In case you catch a spell of unseasonal cool, there are heated rails in the bath/shower room, and as well as electric radiators in bedroom and lounge, there is a large woodburner in the lounge for a cosy evening in! (Many Andalusian cottages don’t have heating) From the large terrace (with trees, outdoor table, chairs and barbecue) you have lovely views of the hills.

Situated in the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, and the Province of Cadiz, this unspoiled area boasts great biodiversity in a spectacular limestone mountain area: with gorges, caves and bubbling clear rivers ; hillsides clad forests of cork oak, and rare Pinsapar pines. Ideal for bird watching (you’ll easily find eagles and vultures), but also many other outdoor activities: within 12 miles of the village you’ll find: Bathing, canoeing, canyoning, riding school, pathway/broadwalk, coastal/forest paths, hiking, rappel, rock climbing, hang-gliding, paragliding, Microlights, flying (club), glider (club), horse trekking and a riding school. More laid back activities are catered for in the village by the bar/pubs, restaurant, nature reserve, museum, local craftstore, cellar and wine tasting.
