Warm chestnut follows through the house with all the doors, windows and shutters sitting perfectly against the backdrop of the stone building. Large iron and leather beds lay relaxed in the beautiful bedrooms and original canvass pictures compliment the tasteful furniture. Outside we ensure the best of outside living in Italy’s perfect climate. Notes to the rental rates

• All prices are in UK Pound Sterling for the property (not per person) for one week, Saturday – Saturday. Including use of the property and its’ grounds. All Linen and Towels included. Price structure is based on the first booking Saturday of each booked week.
  
• A deposit of 25% is due with the booking form. The balance is then split into two equal payments with the final payment payable 8 weeks before departure. Bookings made within 8 weeks are payable in full.
  Energy/Fuel/BBQ wood charged at fixed rate of £30 per week.

Getting there

It is easily accessible from either of the two airports (Bari & Brindisi). The journey to the Trullo is very easy with one motorway, one turn off onto a smaller (main) road and a very easy route to the house from Alberobello. With the ring road actually bypassing the town. The journey takes around 45 mins to an hour and is stress free. See our website for extensive directions, maps, car hire and airline links.

Beaches

The transparent sea is never too far away, bordering the long stiletto heel with white sandy beaches and rocky coves. The land itself is only 30km wide making it easy to explore both coastlines of the Ionian and the Adriatic Oceans. The bigger beaches are easiest to find, dotted along both coastlines, but dig a little deeper along the coastal road and you will discover many little secluded coves and beaches. General Area

The terrain is flat, making it easy to explore, priding itself with beautiful rolling plains in a variety of luminous greens, valleys blanketed with colourful wild flowers, acres of olive groves dating back hundreds of years (actually producing 2 thirds of all the olive oil in Italy) and lush vineyards making some of the best wine you will taste. Because the land is so unspoilt by tourism and enjoys a simple way of life, it is visited by an array of exotic birds and animals. Wild boar, roe and fallow deer, wild cats and eagle owls are amongst some of the species happily making the protected woodlands of Puglia their home. Described in the last year by many publications, broadsheets, TV programmes and food critics as the ‘New Tuscany’; now is the time to visit… GOLF: If you would like a round or two of golf on a beautiful 18 hole course by the sea, only 25 mins drive from the Trullo, then we recommend this club. You do need to have a handicap card to play on the course.
