Self catering cottages in the grounds of Chateau estate

5 self catering properties individually accommodating 2 - 8 people or collectively up to 26 people. All properties are part of a 17th Century courtyard of buildings in the 40 acre estate of Chateau La Trousse. The grounds include a swimming pool & tennis court (open April - September), swing, kitchen garden, orchard, formal and wild gardens, woodland, a moat (now dry) and ornamental ponds. The estate is privately owned by 34 families and offers a peaceful and relaxing environment yet it is very close to Paris, Euro Disney & the Champagne towns of Reims and Epernay. La Trousse has a walled boundry so offers a safe environment for children to play and explore the gardens and Eurodisney is 20 mins drive away. The location also offers a fabulous week or short break option to adults wanting to explore Paris and the Champagne region. Most guests comment on the 'Wow' factor when you arrive at the end of the tree lined driveway and wait for the huge iron gates to let you in.

Originally part of the stable block within the courtyard. In 2003 this house was converted into 3 floors of living accomodation. GROUND FLOOR - open plan, 35 sqmt, Fabulous ceiling 4 mtrs high, barrel vaulted with herringbone brick detail. Kitchen area - gas hob, electric oven, grill & extractor , dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with small freezer, seperate work island/block, large double doors (part of the huge arched window) lead to shingle stone terrace overlooking the front gardens of the Chateau. Dining Area - oak table & 6 chairs, dresser, CD/Radio unit. Seating Area - 4 seater & 2 seater leather sofas, side tables, lamps TV with build in DVD player, free to view UK channels, Log burning stove, large double doors to shared courtyard with garden table and chairs, understairs storage, wooden staircase to:- !st FLOOR hallway with access to bedrooms 2 & 3 & bathroom, wooden staircase (with understairs storage) leading to :- 2nd FLOOR - Bedroom 1 with ensuite bathroom
