This former textile warehouse has been tastefully converted to retain Art Deco features. Large floor areas covered in polished hardwood with double-height ceilings and huge, industrial scale windows with views across the city. Fully fitted kitchen/laundry with stainless steel cook wear. 1 or 2 bath/showers service the generous, equal-sized double bedrooms. Impressive entrance hallway, quality furnishings, including large flat screen TV in lounge and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV in master bedroom. There is a washer/dryer but if you value your clothes, we don't recommend the evaporative drying cycle! We provide a drying rack. Secure access from the street via videophone & keypad door release. Concierge 6 days/week. 2 express lifts. Huge underground garage with keypad access and space for bikes (parking for one car £10 per night extra). We speak English, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Estonian, Kiwi, Oz & a bit of French. We or our representative are nearby at all time

River Tyne cycle and walking trails nearby, also top health clubs and the massive Gateshead Metro indoor shopping mall. North Pennines, Hadrian's Wall, Keilder Forest & Holy Island all within an hour's drive or by train. Notes to the rental rates

Tarrif £350.00 per week or £85 per day all year. Secure parking £10/night extra. Payments must be in GBP sterling.
Refundable £150.00 loss & breakages deposit required with booking, along with 100% of rental pre-paid.
We accept all major credit/debit cards and PayPal. There is a £15 administration charge for this service. Cheques or direct bank transfers must be cleared before the start of the rental, otherwise we require cash on arrival. Direct bank transfers from outside the UK are subject to a £10 administration fee. Keys will not be handed over if the deposit and pre-paid rental have not been received.
A full refund minus an administration fee of GBP 20 plus any bank charges (e.g. credit card payment or currency exchange commissions) for cancellations up to 1 week before your arrival date.
Cancellations less than 1 week before your arrival date incur a 100% penalty, although the GBP 150 key/damage deposit will be refunded in full.

While we welcome senior citizens and mobility-impaired guests, there are no special facilities for the elderly or infirm. In particular, there are no emergency pull-cords and no landline phone, the showers are over regular bathtubs and have no grab rails, and there is limited access in the bedrooms for mobility aids such as wheelchairs. Strictly no pets and no smoking. This property is in a quiet residential block and is not suitable for late night parties, loud music or boisterous behaviour. Probably not suitable for very young children - contact owner. |
