This two bedroomed, two bathroomed, penthouse apartment was completely re-furbished in 2008 - including new interior tiling, bathrooms, kitchen & furniture, plus a 32” flat screen satellite TV & DVD/CD player. The west facing balcony has a built-in barbeque, dining table & chairs - ideal for watching the sunset. The secluded roof terrace has sun loungers and has magnificent uninterrupted views of the ocean, the golf course and Mount Teide. The apartment is fully equipped with towels & linen, fridge, microwave/grill, hob, extractor, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board & iron. There is also a safe. It sleeps 4 persons in two twin-bedded bedrooms - no sofa beds are used. Nearby are: supermarkets, laundry, car hire, beauty salon, restaurants, bars and a disco. Excursions can be booked at the Fairways Reception for Loro Parque, whale and dolphin watching & island tours. Taxis may also be booked. The marina is 500metres away, and pebbly beach is 750m.

Fairways is a lovely Andalusian style family complex with a superb swimming pool, island bar and separate children pool & play area. It is a secure, gated, complex close to the sea with magnificent landscaped gardens - a variety of bars and restaurants being nearby. Fairways is located on the Amarilla Golf & Country Club resort, which includes an 18 hole, par 72, course open to non-members. The resort is located a short distance from the TFI motorway and is a 15 minute drive from Tenerife South (Main) Airport. The resort includes a Marina, where scuba diving and submarine trips are available. A few hundred metres on there is a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The lively resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are a 10/15 minute drive away to the west and 10 minutes to the east is Los Abrigos, an old fishing port with its many fish restaurants. The sandy beach of El Medano is 15 minutes by car and Siam Park, Europe's new water theme park, is 30 min away.

If you are considering renting both apartments you may wish to open the inter-connecting hotel-style doors, located in one of the bedrooms, to form a large 4 bedroomed, 4 bathroomed apartment. Otherwise these doors are always kept locked.

Golf: This apartment is situated on the Amarilla Golf complex with its par 72 course. Club hire and golf buggies are available. The 9th hole bar is a short walk from the apartment. The Golf complex also features a driving range and a 9 hole pitch and put - with an interesting small island for the 9th hole! There are several other courses close by.

My family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed here during August 2008 and found the apartment lovely and exceeded our expectations. The owner's representative was extremely helpful during our stay and he gave us plenty of advice on where to visit whilst we were there and was second to none. We will indeed rent the property again and recommend to our friends and family.
